Wonderful experience Mary clearly loves her dogs!! She was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. She will take any calls 7 days a week till 10 pm. Our beautiful Vizsla couldn't be any happier in his new home. Micro chipped and AKC registered. Mary walked us through the entire process from registering, insuring, getting food, supplements, top even some tips in training. Her assistant that worked on the farm was very helpful, respectful, and nice to me and my wife. Thank you so much Mary!!!!!!!

not sure why these reviews are so bad. I absolutely am blown away at my Vizsla I got from Mary. he's 6.5 years old so freaking awesome!! He comes to work with me every day. He goes on multi day ocean sailing trips. There's nothing he's scared of and when a blanket comes out his eyes light up for snuggles. We can hike for 12 hours and sleep in a tent with zero issue. No health issues, just good to go. read more

Don't be fooled. She's not an AKC registered breeder. Please read ALL the reviews included those hidden by YELP. Contact the local Vizsla Club of New England's rescue for more information or reach out to Viz Whizz Nee England for breeder referrals. This is a PUPPY MILL business!! read more

We have a gorgeous Vizsla x Weimaraner puppy in 2017. She is a wonderful dog, thriving and healthy! She has an amazing temperament and we feel that Mary understands how to breed for temperament. Additionally she paired me with a puppy that was appropriate for my personality. We had an excellent experience. read more

I was duped! I thought I was purchasing a dog from Joan Bevers of Barre, MA (Shady Brook Brittany) but instead my dog came from Mary Corbett (Autumn Oak Vizslas). Clearly this is how Mary works around the terrible reputation she has built up over the years. The two are apparently related. My dog came with incorrect registration papers ( I was promised that they would follow but they never did) and I am struggling to register him as a result. In addition the promised 30 day pet insurance that was to come with the puppy also turned out to be bogus. Repeated emails and phone calls from me to try and resolve these problems were ignored. It has also come to light that my dog's father is also his grandfather! All in all this has been a terrible experience. I thought I was avoiding purchasing a puppy from a bad breeder but it turns out that was not the case at all. If I had known then what I know now I would never have purchased a puppy from either Joan Bevers or Mary Corbett. If you are thinking about purchasing a puppy from either please think again, do not give your money to people only interested in money and not the welfare of the dogs and puppies in their charge. read more

Would highly recommend this breeder. My family got a beautiful little vizsla from her and we couldn't be happier. Her kennel has great conditions for the dogs and it's a great place to board the dogs while on vacation, too. Mary is also lovely to deal with and we are considering getting a second pup soon! read more

My pup was rehomed to us, but came by way of Autumn Oaks Kennels and Mary Corbette. He was diagnosed with Severe Bilat Hip Dysplasia at 13 months old and had his first major surgery on Monday. He will have the other side done in 6 weeks. He has been in tremendous pain for the last 6 months and now must endure the pain of surgery and intense rehab sessions. I am only grateful that this sweet, loving pup came to live with us and is far away from her now!!! I wouldn't wish what he is going thru on any pup or family. This is clearly a result of poor blood lines and over breeding. Other pups from his litter have sever GI issues and most likely will have hip issues arrise as well. STAY FAR AWAY!!!! She also sells pups through Joan Bevers in Wester Mass. They are clearly a puppy mill and scam artists. read more

We got a beautiful, healthy and playful vizsla from Mary, and would highly recommend her kennel. She is a true dog lover and was very helpful and kind through our entire process. We couldn't love our puppy more! There are two poor reviews on here, but I encourage you to have your own experience. We had a very good experience with Mary, and are in the process of getting our second vizsla with her. read more

I purchased a Bernese Mountain Dog from Mary. Worst experience EVER! Our poor puppy is so sick. Came to us with Giardia and 2 viruses. Visibly sick when we got him. Thousands of dollars later the puppy is still sick. One of the viruses he will carry for his life and causes extreme GI issues. He has been hospitalized 3x in 3 months in isolation on IV's to try and help. It is heartbreaking to watch this poor puppy struggle but we would never send him back! read more

My wife and I purchased a Vizsla puppy from Mary several months ago, and we could not be happier. She is beautiful and healthy. In contrast to what others have noted here, we found the facilities to be completely adequate. The litter that our puppy came from was living in a large horse stall that looked clean and -- judging by the puppies activity -- comfortable and fun. (But it is still a farm. Perhaps other reviewers had an issue with the inherent "dirtiness" of that environment.) Mary has also been very kind to us. On one occasion, she drove over an hour to pick up our puppy to dog sit when my wife and I had to leave town on short notice. The bottom line is that we couldn't love our dog more. If you are interested in finding a Vizsla (and you should be!), I recommend that you go to Autumn Oaks to check out the conditions and the puppies for yourself. Good luck! read more

My experience with, at the time it was called Corbett creek kennel, the worst experience ..I found it on line 5 1/2 years ago.. I purchased a Weimaraner puppy..I called her and told her I was looking for a female, she talked me into a male she required a 600. deposit which I paid before meeting my puppy.. ( i had just lost my female Weimaraner 6 weeks before to cancer, therefore was very heartbroken) Total price 1200, long story short .. he had kennel cough and required 2 surgeries for inverted eyelids, and she was very hard to deal with. I just lost Grayson 2 days ago to kidney failure he was only 5 and 1/2. I will NOT be getting another one here!!! read more

Stay away - this is a puppy mill. I contacted this breeder looking for a vizsla puppy and asking about her upcoming litters. She told me that she did not have any vizsla puppies or have any litters planned, but that she had some wizsla (weimaraner/vizsla cross) puppies if I was interested in one of those. I declined and stated that I was only looking for a vizsla. After I said this she responded right away to tell me that actually she would have some vizsla puppies very soon because she was buying an entire litter from out in Illinois or Indiana (I can't remember which) that she planned to keep a female from to breed and then sell the rest and I could have first pick. Ok, well why didn't she tell me this to begin with? When the day came for me to go down and pick out my pup she brought out three females and told me that two of them were 8 weeks and the other was 10 weeks. How the heck does that work if they are from the same litter? Feeling like we were rescuing her from an awful environment, we left with the 10 week old who had a big scar on her butt that the breeder had no explanation for. A few weeks later (after I had to ask for them several times) Mary sent me the puppy's papers in the mail and they looked questionable to me at best, fake at worst. Mary was listed as both the breeder and the owner of the litter. Also, I had been told the puppies were born on 7/15/14, but the paperwork said 8/1/14. This could not have been possible if the puppy I bought was 10weeks old when I picked her up in September - she certainly looked 10 weeks. I am fortunate that my vizsla is a sweet, healthy, and amazing dog, but the only thing that makes sense for Mary to have had puppies of different ages is that she is buying puppies from puppy mills and selling them herself when she has people interested in puppies, but does not have any of her own litters to offer. A woman I ran into this summer reaffirmed this for me when she had a similar story of Mary telling her there were no puppies available, trying to sell her a weimaraner puppy, and then magically having vizsla puppies all of a sudden. I live in Vermont and have run into numerous people who have all had awful experiences dealing with Mary Corbett and her dogs. She is also breeding greater swiss mountain dogs and weimaraners - clearly just in the dog business for profit. The farm they are on is a mess and the dogs/puppies all live outside in kennels. Simply google the name Mary Corbett and you will see that she that she has been fined by OSHA and caused the death of a teen because of unsafe workplace, so her business practices are suspect at best. She relocated to Vermont after this all took place in New Hampshire. Please avoid this breeder at all costs. read more

In September 2017, I saw an ad on Craig's List for a 6 year old male Boxer that was being rehomed. At that time, I was looking for a rescue type Boxer to add to our home. I made contact thru the ad and Mary called me back. She went on about how many calls she received and how lucky I was. She said the dog was up to date on all shots and had just gone thru a Vet check. She said the dog had never pooped in her house and was easy going. The rehoming fee was $250. I was interested. She didn't want me to meet the dog at her place, I was to meet her at McDonald's in Lebanon. So, we made an appointment. She was an hour late. She showed up with the dog. Said he had recently been sent out to another State to breed to females. Also said that she had boarded the dog and another one for about a year and the owners had decided to let them go. The other dog had already been placed. My dog, to be, had lived in a kennel all his life. So, I decided to take the dog. I felt bad, he seemed pleasant but was on the thin side. I told her I wanted a bill of sale. She started writing one on a tiny bit of paper and then started shuffling things around. I wish I had been paying more attention. All of a sudden, she said she wanted a puppy from him before she would give me the papers. Originally, she demanded that he be neutered after transfer. Then she couldn't find his Vet records...of course she had left them at home. Promised me that all paperwork and the bill of sale would be sent out within 24 hours. After repeated phone calls, the paperwork was never sent. During all this, she kept referring to prayers and God's wishes. Dah! After about 3 or 4 weeks, I gave up and brought the dog for shots. Immediately, the Vet said he needed a dental. Other than the shots and check-up, there was another $500 involved. And, the dog obviously never "pooped" in her house since I don't believe he was ever in her house. The dog was not housebroken. Housebreaking a 6 year old dog is not fun. She was supposed to call me immediately when those puppies he sired were born. Needless to say, no call! I will say that we have grown to love the dog. Mary has a real problem with the truth. Dog flipper? For sure! Does she constantly contradict herself? For sure! I waited a long time to write this since I wanted to be fair. Not to long ago, I read another similar complaint so I know this is a pattern with her. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. THIS IS A PUPPY MILL - do not buy from her. When I went to get my vizsla there were multiple dogs in crates stacked on one another, various litters throughout her house, and in the garage. The entire place smelled and was dirty. My puppy came home with giardia, as do most if not all, of her puppies. There were also weimeraners and Bernese mountain dogs on the property, also in crates. One Weimaraner puppy clearly had an eye infection, was in pain, and potentially blind. When we asked about the puppy (multiple times) we couldn't get an answer and I hate to think of this poor puppy's eventual fate. I felt awful for every animal there and for giving her money. I travelled from Rhode Island and if I could have I would've taken them all. My V is now 6 years old and luckily didn't have as many health or behavioral complications as others did but I would NOT recommend buying from her. Do yourself a favor and do not even entertain the idea of buying from her or visiting. She is not AKC though she claims to be and you will never get the "papers" she promises you. Vet records are falsified and she is cross breeding vizslas with weimeraners which is not AKC as she claims. There is no research of this "breed" or a known temperament so you have no idea what you're getting. A teenager died on her property due to her own negligence with her "barn". She has absolutely no sense of ethics and is simply looking to make money. She has changed her business name multiple times to avoid negative reviews and fines from various authorities. Do your research, check social media, it's out there. Stay far away and do not support her. Autumn Oak aka Corbett Creek operating out of Vermont and/or NH - Mary Corbett is her name. read more

There are positive and negative experiences in life. My experience with Corbett Creek Kennel In Topsham Vermont was one of the most negative, Horrible, and heart breaking experiences I have encountered! My purpose of going there was to purchase a Visla puppy. Needless to say I left there with my money and no puppy. I feel so bad for any animal there as well as any people who have ever experienced what I did there. EEk! ME THINKS DEFINATELY NOT!!!!! read more

I would not buy any dog here. I feel like they may have one foot on the correct legal side of not being a "puppy mill" but they are on a slippery slope. Dogs, upon dogs, upon dogs. Borderline chaos. Certainly NOT a "small breeder" by any definition. read more
