Lovely spot to select a morning pastry this morning. Aux Pains de La Ferme is just down the street from the train station; an easy walk there and back up toward Versailles where we spent our morning. The inviting display tempts patrons with a array of choices. How could one go wrong? My fruit tart tasted heavenly - flaky, not too sweet, a wonderful tartness from the berries. My only disappointment was reaching the last bite! My husband's pastry was delightful as well. Quick, efficient service keeps customers moving. Highly recommend! read more

Out of all of the boulangeries that we went to while we were in France, this one was by far the most welcoming. They knew we were tourists and they knew we spoke limited French and they took that as an opportunity to practice their own English. We got a couple croissants and I enjoyed it. It was flaky and soft. The lady helping us out even gave us a few pate a choux for free as a gift! I thought that was really nice of them! However, we got a lunch sandwich with lettuce, tomato and bacon and I didn't really like it. The sesame bun was really hard and rough and everything in the sandwich felt disjointed. To say the least, I was pretty disappointed with the sandwich. All in all, this boulangerie has friendly employees with good pastries. I cannot, however, vouch for their sandwiches. read more

Just fyi, no seating here. But this bakery was cute and had very helpful and friendly service. We got a croissant with chocolate in it- perfectly light and delicious- as well as raspberry tarts (tarte aux framboise) which were delicious. Not too much tart or citrus flavor that it was overpowering but enough to compliment the fresh raspberries and crumbly crust! Overall, it was a great experience- food was great, service was efficient and yet not rude, and it wasn't crowded with tourists. read more

We were doing a little walk into town before leaving on the train back to Paris, saw some great looking lunch fare in the window along with great looking pastries. Despite a crowd, we squeezed our way in. Service was fast and the two women who helped us couldn't have been sweeter. One of them offered us a couple of sweet bites gratis and the other helped us with a delicious hot dog on french bread smothered in multiple cheeses and a mini veggie quiche Both were great! The best croissant in Versailles it was buttery fresh, crispy on the outside, warm and chewy on the inside delicious goodness. We also tried a few other pastries and dessert. Everything here is yummy! We wanted to buy more but didn't want to carry around with us. Definitely recommend if you are visiting Versailles. read more

Such a cute little shop. We arrived close to the lunch hour and encountered a small line that moved quickly. The shop employees were lovely and helpful. The pastries were delicious. We got a quiche, two chocolate croissants and a plain croissant but we wanted to buy one of everything because it all looked so amazing. We were looking to get lunch before Versailles and decided to try this place. The works spoke great English, were extremely helpful and very friendly. The sandwiches we had were really tasty, both the bread and the toppings. We even had a little dessert which was also great. She gave us a recommendation to walk about 8 minutes down the street to sit and have lunch at the lake which was prefect. Stopped here around 9am on our way to see the Palace. The nicest lady was working the counter. We were able to communicate with each other using broken English and French. But instead of being annoyed, she was so friendly and welcoming. Tried a plain croissant and a chocolate croissant. Both were delicious and very freshly made. Slight crunchy outside and pillow soft on the inside. Wish croissants at home tasted like this. If I'm ever back in Versailles, I wouldn't hesitate to come back. read more

This pastry shop in Versailles was very welcoming. They also have medium sized salads and small quiches, some stuffed baguettes, and flat breads. We had a large pistachio/raspberry macaroon and a strawberry shortcake, both were excellent! We also had a salad that was great and a stuffed baguette that was incredible! English speaking, very welcoming, accept cc's, close to the palace on walker-friendly sidewalks! read more

We didn't speak French and they didn't speak English. Despite that, the ladies working there could not have been friendlier.
