After several phone calls I discovered it was from Tara dermatology from 2014. They have my current address on file and yet they NEVER sent me a bill. When I called the person I spoke with in billing had zero sympathy for my problem. You can just pay the $200 she said, it was because your insurance didn't pay it. You can call them. I don't remember going to the dermatologist in 2014, and I'm not really sure what insurance I had back then. It is really a shame that companies can do this to you without notice.

I had to have a MOH procedure for skin cancer. It was in a very noticeable place on my face (right between my nose and lips) so I was very fearful of the end result. I was nervous. But their whole team made me feel very much at ease and Dr. Chastain was a true professional. If I -- God forbid -- have more skin cancer to deal with, this will be my preferred doctor and facility for sure. Also to note: the procedure was very well done and the scar is barely noticeable after just one month. I'm anxious to see the improvement in 2-3 more months. While he removed the dorsal hump, he severely damaged the tip of my nose. The tip was left thinned, misshapen, and crooked, with one nostril so narrow that it would tear. Because of this, I required two additional surgeries with another plastic surgeon. One procedure was specifically to strengthen the weakened nostril, and the other--a five-hour surgery--was to straighten and reinforce the tip of my nose. Although the revision surgeon improved the structure and appearance, the damage from the original surgery was so extensive that it cannot be fully repaired due to scar tissue. This experience has been extremely difficult, and I strongly caution anyone considering rhinoplasty with this doctor.
