While they do have three football fields and a baseball field for the county youth associations to play on, there is so much more! There is a very nice paved path surrounding the main park area great for running, walking, pushing strollers etc. There is a huge playground and picnic area. There is a large indoor gym with basketball, run track, class rooms and conference rooms. And I believe they also have an adjoining disc golf course (at least did at one time) We come here often. Its quiet, easy to get to without much traffic and close to home

They also rudely kick their…read morepatrons out of the pool if they close unexpectedly early ( storms included the least rumbles) and have no regard for advertised business hours at closing. They do not respect their clientele and treat them like rubbish. The pool is often not clean !

No arm floats, only the kind that wraps around chest and/or life jacket. You can have water bottle (the haven't said anything about it, besides staying hydrated while swimming is a safety measure too) we still bring other drinks and snacks but we eat those on the outside picnic table. Rest and go back swinging. Sometimes just come to swim get tired and leave after talking a nice shower, then take them for a meal.

There are nice picnic tables in 2 large…read morepavilions with grills and electric hook ups, picnic tables nestled throughout the park, restrooms, paved and unpaved hiking trails, 2 tennis courts and a playground. The park is nicely shaded in a beautiful woodland setting. It also looks like it is wifi accessible but I can't verify this because we noticed the antennas on our way out. We enjoyed our take out lunch in this little park.

I was invited to a football game this past weekend with a new generation and to my surprise the park has not changed but actually looked revamped. There were parents and kids buzzing all around this park. Grilling, tailgating, and enjoying some good football. Parking is kind of limited and it's still extremely hot. Definitely bring umbrellas, chairs, and a cooler. Oh and bug spray long as your prepared you'll have lots of fun. And this park has a playground.

This is a nice little community park situated right in the middle of several houses. But it's not…read morehard to miss. On this recent Sunday morning, attendance was sparse. There were a couple of families with little people enjoying the play area. The tennis courts and the baseball diamonds were completely empty. Not sure if this usual or not. I could see another playground off in the distance behind the baseball area, but didn't get a chance to get over there to get a closer look. In general, it was really calm. Even with little people around. They seem to have been enjoying their time very much, and the parents either sat quietly nearby or helped them onto the playground equipment. There is plenty of walking space, and also places to come and enjoy a late breakfast or lunch. The wide-open spaces are large enough to accommodate sizable parties for those who are looking for a location to host a get together in a public space. And there are a couple of pavilions. I did notice that there were several electrical outlets available. In all, a very nice, well-kept community park.

As for the actual water park, there needs to be better organization. Lines were long b/c there wasn't enough tubes for people to use. This caused lots of lingering. Kids got hot and exactly due to limited covered space.
