Nice, small water park. Parking was plentiful. Covered picnic areas were available for private use. There's also a pond and playground on the backside. As for the actual water park, there needs to be better organization. Lines were long b/c there wasn't enough tubes for people to use. This caused lots of lingering. Enjoyed the waterpark with friends and family. Forgot about the clear bag policy...so had to ditch my book bag and carry 5 big towels thru the park. It rained and we had to leave 4 hrs into the days. But the kids did enjoy themselves. I would go back. read more

I came to visit this waterpark today with my daughter and the employees that searched my bag were extremely invasive and I felt that my privacy was violated. She literally went through my wallet. Something that tsa does not do. She found a candy bar and said I couldn't have it. I said okay, then she found pepper spray and said I couldn't have that. I decided not to patronize the business at that point when I noticed her digging in my wallet. I turned to go back to my car and turned right back around to retrieve my candy bars and she had thrown them away. I asked to speak to the supervisor and she said the employee had every right even though she never offered them back. Both very young individuals who resumed to chatting and being on their phones. I was pleasantly surprised during our 4th of July visit to Spivey Splash Water Park. When we arrived around 11:30 a.m., the line was long, so long we almost turned around and went home. Thankfully, it moved quickly, and we were inside before we knew it. Now, we weren't able to find anywhere to sit, that was probably the toughest part. But we lucked out and grabbed a lone bench tucked off to the side, and honestly, it worked out fine. There were a lot of people there (holiday crowd, of course), but the weather was perfect, the energy was fun, and we ended up having a really great time. read more

Oooh, what a fun day we had today at Spivey Splash Water Park. The park is CLEAN & SAFE. The weather was perfect, and the kiddos had a great time. I'm happy I was able to bring my godbabies here during their visit to ATL because they had such amazing time. I was a big kid today and could be there all day if time permits. Security and life guards were everywhere, which is greatly appreciated. The water park is inexpensive and a great spot to get the kiddos out of the house. You aren't allowed to bring in outside food. Locker rental is for $5. The entry was $20. I didn't see a towel rental area, but we did bring our own. I definitely see myself returning for another splash day. read more

It's so fun! Lots of attractions and slides are so fun! There's a lazy river, slides, water sprouts, a kids area, and another pool!!

Had a great time here mid-week with my 5 year old daughter. I've heard it gets packed on the weekend and even sometimes doesn't allow entry if it gets over-capacity so consider calling ahead. They have a variety of water activities here that are fun for all ages. On a hot summer day Spivey offers a nice refuge from the heat. Our favorite activity was probably the lazy river. It's a solid journey which you can do by yourself on a single tube or with a friend/family member on a shared double tube. Many people also just choose to float/swim with the current without a tube. According to the website, it's the longest lazy river in GA. They have a kiddie pool with a slide and water playground all surrounded by very shallow water. My daughter didn't like the bucket which splashes everybody every few minutes but the couple of slides are fun. We did not try the "flowrider" surfer ride the wave type attraction ($5) but it looked fun, especially for the older kids. They also have two mat type big slides and two inner tube big slides. We also enjoyed the sports pool with the volleyball game and basketball hoops in another part of it. Finally there's a small splash pad not far from the concessions stand inside. Overall it's a good value as it's only $13 (kids under 48 inches))-$15 (adults) admission price and even though it's not a huge 6 flags type place, there's enough to do and see to make it a half day trip from the Atlanta metro with less stress than a big water park. One thing I'd recommend to them, I wished they provided locks free or for a cheap cost instead of needing to buy a lock for their locker systems or renting for $5. Also, the season pass deal is great ($50) but they've sold out of those already. We would come back to try the "sky trail" (must be 48 inches) when it's open as it looked fun. Note: 2 year olds and under are free but need to wear swim diaper and seniors/veterans also get $5 off admission. There's also a discount after 5pm for a "twilight" swim. read more

Had a good experience but definitely opportunities to improve. Overall the park, restrooms, eating area was clean, staff were friendly and well informed. For $20 with re-entry it's a pretty good deal. We arrived at 11am and stayed until 6:30pm 1. Rope off cabanas with signage that says RESERVED! There are already hooks there pls add a rope in the front and back of the cabanas so Splash guests are not walking/running/standing in the Cabana that you paid $125 so your friends and family could be comfortable. Also, give those in rented cabanas an additional wrist band! If you don't have that wrist band on then you do not belong in the cabana! And when we asked folks to leave our cabana area their response was "we are just standing here" 2. Have ALL THREE registers OPEN during lunch time at the concession stands to move the lines quickly. Also give people a buzzer or ticket number and let them retrieve their food from the back window. Standing in line for 50 minutes waiting for food is ridiculous. That is time that should be spent enjoying the water park. Make sure soda machines are working I shouldn't have to wait in line for any amount of time just for beverages . Provide more beverage selections. No juice for kids or those who don't drink soda or power aide. And the Kona ice ran out by 2pm ish which is ridiculous. 3. Ensure concession stand is adequately equipped with condiments and napkins. The park opened at 11am I got in line the first time for my party of 8 at 12:30 and there were no napkins AND all of the condiments are mixed in one container. The lady at the register had to pick through the condiments to get me what I wanted. The condiments should be separated out. Or placed at a condiment station so guests can get what they want. 4. Ladies PLEASE stop wearing your fake eye lashes to the water park! Pulling them off and throwing them in the lazy river when you can no longer be bothered is disgusting and you wonder why...... fill in the blank here. You know who you are. 5. Please have a staff member controlling the tubes for the lazy river so that folks are keeping them for their personal use leaving none for guests who are actually in the river. read more

The kids absolutely love this place. It has everything a family needs to enjoy themselves. We sat under our cabana and watched the kids have a blast. Then we floated around the lazy river ourselves. Plenty of lifeguards all over controlling things so we felt completely safe our kids were safe. They serve food as well. Great place! Oh let's not forget the price! Good deal. If you are looking for some family fun and you want to cool off at the same time this is your spot! Plenty of parking $20 per person and you get a wristband. Upon entering their is a cute area for little ones kinda like a splash pad water shooting up from the ground. Water splashing over head, water slides, with floats, surfing area, huge pool, and a lazy river with floats. They play great music and they have a concessions area to purchase food and beverages and snacks like chips and candy. You can also rent a large or small cabana, an umbrella, and/or pool chairs. (Tip: bring your own folding chairs.) Bring lots of sunscreen and a pair of shades! If not you may find yourself sitting on your towel on that scorching hot fake grass or the concrete and the concrete was cooler! I spent my entire time on the lazy river and it's takes you around the water park. Overall it's lots of fun! NOTE, SPECIFICALLY SPIVEY SPLASH WATER PARK - Your children will have an outstanding time! You adults might too! Park is not huge but, is open only on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) now that the Clayton kids are back in school - closing during the week cuts down on teenage skip parties at the park... Tall people pay full price unless seniors. Little people get a two dollar discount but they also cannot do all things at the park if shorter than 48". If you can't take the sun, bring a chair and find a shady spot. Better though, would be to arrive early and reserve shady spots under an umbrella or rent the private little cabanas that include chairs, roof shade and curtain wall shade. Groups can reserve spaces for parties inside or outside the park. Re-entry is permitted because everyone must wear an armband. No outside food is permitted so be prepared to pay for concessions. We arrived at noon and my little one shut the place down! Adults will have to sign for young ones to get in the wave pool - be prepared with your cell phone to scan the QR and with your photo ID to submit with the virtual waiver and permission form. I operate a small school - we also used this venue for our last day of school (a field day of sorts) French fries are surprisingly delicious! The food is reasonably priced for an amusement park. The young Clayton County teens who staff the park do a fantastic job watching out for everyone and providing a safe enjoyable environment. We had a delightful time and hope you will too! P.S. We have patronized the pool at Spivey Recreation Center and the Lundquist Natatorium over by the CC jail. The customer service reps (2 long time Clayton County Parks and Recreation employees are rude middle aged females who talk down to everyone and make entrance so difficult) at the front desk. They make our day miserable EVERY single time! If you have friendly public pools near you, use those. Rather than pay the discounted local resident prices we began to pay more intentionally with Swimly.com simply to have a hassle free experience at local privately owned pools. read more

We booked a birthday party on August 24th, 2024. The first problem: I got there at 9 am to reserve a 125.00, cabana. when I got to the reserve table, I was #3 because I had to wait in line to get an arm band, however, I should have been able to get the Cabana I wanted. But NO, 3 of the Cabana's had been reserved and it clearly stated first serve. The manager couldn't give an explanation, neither could the manager when I called on Monday give me one. The party, the baby's party was ok. The pizza was wrong, but we passed on pass that. We ended up in the Small Cabana all 33 of us. HORRIBLE. I will not visit this place again. Once the reviews start to come in and are below grade. It will go downhill from there. I realize it's not Disney status, but what else can we do but not visit what's in our backyard. Great, affordable alternative to the larger parks. Took several tweens and it felt safe and clean. We felt comfortable letting them have a little distance and independence without having to be on top of them, but it wasn't a huge park so they never felt too far. read more
