While you may claim you are an "intimate" boutique spa. Your service did not provide any level of intimate personal experience. Several of our nails weren't completely painted and there was bubbling and lumps on many. There was no buffing so the edges were all rough from the emery board she used to file the nails almost completely down (no clippers). The manager was quick to respond and stated she would discount my service and I would see it in a few days. She was appropriately responsive and apologetic. That was on July 14. It is now August 7th and the manager has stopped responding to my messages and we have not seen any refund in our bank. It is disappointing that she has not acted in the good faith she promised. I suppose since we were traveling guests she realized that our return visit wouldn't be affected. My family does plan to return to the Resort the salon is located on, but we will not be using the salon again. The gal that performed the service was VERY friendly but stated she was a massage therapist. I was informed when I booked that I would not have a nail tech, but that we would love the results. I was not expecting a full and beautiful mani/pedi for my daughter and me, but this experience wasn't even decent. Again, the gal was very nice. But the value of the service fell far below the price. I do not recommend this salon unless you are with a known specialist.
