The items are a little more expensive than mass produced brands, but I think the pricing is fair because the soaps are handmade with simple ingredients. However, this was the first time that the scents of my favorite soaps were definitely not as fragrant as usual, but that can be a risk with handmade scented products and gave me the opportunity to try out a new local line scent. I have also spoken to their staff about booking a party, they were very nice and informative. It seems like a fun option for a kid's party where each kid gets to make their own bath bombs.

Every once in a while, these mistakes result in full on catastrophe. I usually color my hair at home. I'm sure there are arguments against it but the outcome is usually quite acceptable. Periodically, however, I'll step to the left or the right and try some random different product off of the drugstore shelf. This usually ends badly and I have yet to learn that lesson. Recently, I threw caution to the wind and bought a product that I'd never used before (at the drug store). I ended up with hair the color of Banana Laffy Taffy. It was pretty awful. A trip to a salon didn't really change much and I'd already surpassed my "emergency hair repair" budget. I stopped in this location to grab some toner and conditioner to repair the damage. The aisles here are narrow and it gets crowded with more than two people shopping for the same items. On the day that I dropped in, someone thought that dragging three small children (one of whom screeched like a pasty little gibbon) was a good idea. So, my shopping trip took a little longer than expected because I had to hang out in another aisle to avoid being immersed in that mess. The staff was superbly informative when I asked for help finding a conditioning mask that would make my hair feel less like straw. I left with everything I needed to put myself back together for less than thirty bucks!

They greet you when enter and are there to help you with anything you need. There are rows and rows of stuff to choose from. Shelves are spacious to walk in, extremely clean, has attractive dark brown hardwood floors. Hair products make up a third of the store. The rest is dedicated to hair. Wigs and weaves make up the rest of the store. It is located in a big shopping center on Outer Loop Rd near Krogers. Since they have such abundant of products this is the place to find what you are looking for.

I decided to try a different hair salon than the one I have gone to for more years than I can…read morecount. My stylist no longer cuts hair and I had tried one of the other stylists last August. The haircut was mediocre at best. After reading the single Yelp review and many other reviews I decided to try Inspirations Salon in Shelbyville. When I called I indicated I wanted a wet cut with an easy to maintain wash and wear style. The person that had answered the phone recommended Nikki. It was a breeze to book the appointment for a convenient time. I also inquired how much I should expect to pay for the requested wet cut. The answer was $30. which seemed reasonable. On the day of my appointment I arrived a few minutes early. One employee came to the front desk and indicated Nikki was finishing up the appointment before me. I patiently waited about 20 minutes into my scheduled appointment time. When she was done Nikki came forward and escorted me back to her station. She seemed a little unknowledgeable on what I had booked. "Do you want a shampoo?" My reply "yes". I then produced a magazine picture with the general haircut I was looking for and told Nikki it needed to be an easy wash and wear cut. The haircut itself went quite well and was exactly what I was hoping for. Then rather than just styling it as my hair dried Nikki proceeded to style it with a variety of brushes and blow dryer. In the end I confirmed how much I owed her and she replied "$35." Fortunately I had that much set aside for the cut and tip so I gave her the $35 and then dug in my purse for an appropriate tip. I waited to write this review until I could live with the cut for a couple of weeks. The cut is probably the best cut that I've had in the last five years. So why not five stars? The little difference in price, plus having to insist on a shampoo before the cut, plus the extra styling makes me withhold that fifth star. I definitely well come back in the future.

The products are extensive salon products at cost prices. They have recently upgraded this particular location and it is wonderful. My hair looks better and feels better than it has in the last 6 months. I went to her because of all the great reviews I had read and they were all true. She knows her stuff when it comes to hair.
