Works very well if you plan accordingly. Some of the other reviews regarding "rude" staff? I've never seen that once - not even close. The staff is straight up, honest, and kind. Doesn't mean the answer will always suit your plans for that day. Such is life, right? My recommendation? Slow down. Relax. Enjoy the ultra-cool shop and the fun neighborhood. Meet some folks. In addition, I happen to work with two of Randy's (the owner of kut klose) best friends. Let me start out by saying that Randy is a very genuine man, he really tries to get to know you. For example, I decided I wanted to grow my hair out for a year and attempt to grow the long Hawaiian hair and attempt to rock the man bun! Haha so having not been into see Randy for a year, I called made an appointment and instantly on the phone he remembered who I was and got me in that same day. When I got there he remembered that I wanted a fo hawk with a number 2 on the sides! Randy is very personable and makes you feel at home. When I first went in, I was nervous because I am pretty picky about my hair cuts. There have been other barbers in the past that I would just go home and buzz my hair myself. I know I know a waste of money but oh well. Randy on the other hand takes his time and makes sure you walk out liking your hair! As you can see from my photos he does designs! He is talented for sure, I had a shaka shaved into my head and all I did was hold up my hand and away he went. Ive seen some pretty impressive designs from Randy; Seahawk logos to parts and stars, he does it all. I want to say the price is very reasonable for the service and "classic barbershop" conversation. When you go in make sure you a lot time in your schedule because Randy takes his time and usually there is line of people waiting to be lined up. Finally, Randy works his butt off and I appreciate the amount of effort put into his work, he clearly loves what he does and I respect the man for it! I have never heard of anything so ridiculous in my life. Incidentally, I have previously been charged $28.00 for the same haircut. They tried to justify the price change but said the owner had not yet made the change but they were still charging me $33.00. This is very dishonest, you advertised one price but charged me a higher price. Then tried to justify a regular haircut as style. I didn't take a picture of the sign when I left and I should have. Today, I went back and they had changed all of their prices. I won't be back and will file a complaint with the licensing agency.

They remember names and conversations too. This place is what barber shops used to be like before the supercuts of this world. So anyways, there is hardly ever a line, and if there is, its never for more than 5-10 minutes as they have, like I said 4 barbers going at the same time! The decor is great and clean. The layout is great, faces the tv's and the waiting area so if you bring kids you can see them as you get your dome cut. I like how personable all the gals are and how perfect they are in the cuts. Also they cut it exactly how you want it. I've yet to leave this place without being satisfied. Not like satisfied after I told them where to fix the cut either. They do it right the first time, every time. Next is the straight razor shave on the neck with the hot towel, mmmmmmm. Ok sure thats becoming a regular thing these days, but last and most importantly is the price. This place is the cheapest cut in town, it also is the best cut in town. Also they do quite well with my autistic son, I have yet to find any place that can do a good job with him and not be rattled visibly by the increased difficulty of his movements and aversion to the loud noises and feeling. That is definently a plus. I've been to dag gone every barber in town since I've been stationed here for 12 years. This place is my last barber shop I will ever go to.
