Which is of the 3rd generation grass. awesome stuff! You can rent it out for a fee of coursebut is absolutely brilliant! Then there are the indoor pitchs. These are usually split into 4 pitchs. Again using the same generation grass. Great pitch to play on in or outdoor. The most annoying thing about the pitchs are the little bits of black rubber off the pitch, these get everywhere! Absolutely everywhere. Make sure you take off shin pads etc before you go into your own house. Other wise you will be hoovering them up days later. The Higgs centre is easy to get to, has a massive car park which is plenty big enough! There is also some gym equipment up stairs along with a bar.

The Stanton Social Club is one of the hidden secrets of Coventry! They have an extensive Indian menu. I was told to try the sizzlers and I got a mixed Sizzler to snack on, then a Keema Bhuna and a naan bread for mains. The Sizzler came on a hot plate and it was HUGE and I could tell that the meat used was good quality as the fat was minimal. The desserts are also to an Indian theme. As I was too full from the mains, I did not try the deseerts. If you are looking for a chilled out place with a great atmosphere then the Stanton Social Club is it. Even if you fancy a game of Pool, they have 2 tables and Sky Sports running on multiple screens, so you won't be bored. Give the stanton a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Bloss as its affectionately known is the place where I used to play tennis many years ago. It…read morecontains 7 tennis courts, two of which are fairly new but the rest are really ageing. It also has a football pitch and a place to play bowls. There is also a very old little pub attached to it. My memory of it is being kicked off tennis courts by older members who thought they were more important than us. Unfortunately you don't have much choice of where to play tennis so this is one of the best courts in the area unless you can afford David Lloyd which is also nearby. On most days you can play just by turning up and there is no one there so there is little need to book a court. Its a nice place but its really badly managed and unfortunately I can't see it improving in the future.

First impressions; the facilities they have are brilliant. There is a beautiful cricket pitch, several impressive Tennis courts, a stunning bowls green, to name but a few. There is a large function room with its own access to the bar. Upon entering the bar you immediately feel welcomed and pick up the vibes of this homely environment. All of the members were extremely welcoming and more than happy to answer any of my questions. I understand that 'The Bloss' also boasts several highly competitive Hockey teams. Along with a Chess and Petanque league. There is also a Drama section, for any budding thespians! A Darts board, Pool table or (like me!) if you just simply fancy a pint or two then this is a fantastic find, the beer prices are the cheapest in Solihull, easily! This is an easy 5 star review and I will certainly be using this Social/Sports club in the future.

Has a good few car parking spaces available, which is great to see considering how small the place is. The club house is well , very very small adn really could do with a major overhall. They had new changing rooms built which is great but did not spend any money on the development side for the bar bit. This is a dissappointment as it really is naff. There is no seating any where either which could be seen as a bad thing or good depending on age or how the weather is. There is no undercover standing area so you really know when its -3 or windy and raining!
