Like I said, this company is very very scary, no where did I read before renting this car that I had to leave $1100 deposit on top of my rental. Also when we collected the car there was already a scratch on a separate alloy we were not told about. Luckily we found it upon collection and reported it. What would have happened if we missed it? Though this is a large airport, it's (mostly) easy to navigate. We took the train straight to central Milan, and had no issues getting from our gate to the train platforms, or in finding restrooms or shops along the way. The biggest confusion came on our return; we were staying in an on-property hotel and lost a bit of time walking in circles before finding the entrance (but I do also think the hotel could have done a better job of describing how to get there.) The one big kerfuffle I'd mention would be the gate situation. The gate waiting areas are kind of small and get crowded, and the overhead speakers are not great - though I feel like that can be said for most airports these days. There was the usual crush to get lined up before boarding, which I just don't understand, and though the airport staff tried, they weren't able to get people to back off or queue up only when it was their turn.
