Dont waste your time with this company. I had major problems in Rio with their affiliate called Unidas.
Use Uber Comfort level cars. You will thank me for this. Also save on hassles, fees, fuel, time, etc.
1. 3 hours wait to get the rental car
2 out of 3 kiosks closed in main Rio's international airport
missing cable for scanner for documents. staff using personal phone to grab copies of documents to be able to upload to their computer.
no paper to print contracts
2. Garage pass card did not work to get out of airport garage
3. Required that car be washed and cleaned inside prior to return
4. car had many small panel issues. Staff mistyped name and email in contract made it impossible to call for assistance and to verify what issues were present at check out
5. toll pass did not work. I had to get out of express pass to pay each time
6. Return is poorly marked in airport garage and access roads
7. upon check in staff wanted to charge for a few speck of dust in trunk.
8. wanted me to sign a disclosure that required me to return the car within 1 hour if it was stollen or loose any insurance coverage. Problem is their 0800 number is served by recordings and it does not have an option to report theft and it is in portuguese and it requires a name mis-spelled as they did on contract and a local document ID never used to pick up the car
9. I will spare you the time reading further. Avoid it like the plague.
Uber in Brazil is cheap enough that even uber black will cost a lot less and allow you to enjoy the vacation, instead of dealing with a company that is long gone and doesnt know.
