She was just informed that since she was an occupant prior to the new ownership taking over that she would not be getting her deposit back. What a rip off and what a clear picture of these people's integrity and ethics. Why would you want to take advantage of an elderly woman that lives on a fixed income and every penny makes a huge difference to her?? The answer is greed! This paints a pretty clear picture of the charcter and intigrity of the owners of this facility. Sad!!!! Who want to rip off and elderly woman???

I Stored my camper at the 14th and Comanche Acorn Storage site facility…read more My camper had 2 attempted break-ins in a year . I stored my camper at this site for a total of two years in what would be a covered machine building. Rent was $55 a month. The facility has 2 coded gates and 8 foot fencing. The parking spots for boats, campers, cars needs improvement. There seems to be a lot of dust that gets all over your vehicle/ camper because the parking spots are basically dirt where they need to be improved with gravel. I paid extra monthly for additional coverage through a company called Safe Lease.. getting compensation for any damages is in vain because pictures are not proof enough. Reported to Osage County Sheriff. A police report is unattainable because the county sheriff of Osage doesn't really care... "our damages were not that significant." I never received a police report for the first attempted break-in to my camper ...and I'm sure I won't receive one for the latest break in. There wasn't anything stolen from my camper because they were never able to get in, but they damaged my door twice and broke the lock for the door handle, but the deadbolt kept them out. Thievery in this country has hit an all-time high.. The lack of respect for people's property. It's just inexcusable. Acorn storage didn't even offer me a another spot or facility for my camper.. they seem to know that there's a problem out at this facility with homeless and vagrant people that break into their facility all the time.,Break ins are not uncommon.,So basically no one cares.. Safe Lease insurance company doesn't care. The Osage County sheriff doesn't care... So, I would not recommend storing your camper, cars at this facility with this Acorn Storage company. It just simply is not a secure enough facility. Storage at your risk... The loss is mine. Thanks for nothing.
