However, I wish he would have designed our cabinets. Upon taking delivery and initial install, the builder specifically spelled out on the floor the appropriate dimensions for the bathroom vanities and ended up being oversized and had to remove and receive some sort of credit (still wondering how my handles supposedly offset that), but my primary gripe with this whole endeavor is that I feel my cabinets were unfinished. Excuse I received was that the proposal they put together was for a 2cm countertop (which they did not receive the bid) and I ended up going with a 3 cm countertop and they said that because the cabinets were designed with a 2 cm that the plywood ended up not being finished due to raising the countertop. Now, in my entire experience of constructing a new home; it is evident to me that there is no accountability for any of the subcontractors I've dealt with. Hence, I'm struggling to recommend these folks yet I'll still give them a decent review because they appropriately know how to charge and not back up the 'white glove' delivery per their bid. Rick is an awesome guy; but felt like he was trying to convince me to not patch the exposed OSB to not make it look like it was a cabinet issue but more of a countertop issue. So buyer beware of their lack of accountability. It was proposed that I should quote a stainless steel finish to make it look the countertop guys screwed up.

For example my ceiling slopes. Donald matched the slope of the ceiling when installing crown molding. It is a simple thing, but most would just leave the cabinet top open I think. (Elite) to refinish our 1990's solid wood kitchen cabinets. We wanted to transition from a dated medium tone reddish-brown natural wood finish to have them painted a fresh, modern neutral color. We selected an elegant shade of beige with hints of yellow and green depending on how the sun is shining. We waited the full 30 days after painting to replace items on the painted shelves that were part of our kitchen. I have waited until now to write my review to be sure that the painted cabinet surfaces held up to everyday wear and tear. All I can say is that Elite did a fantastic job! Ernesto came and gave us the initial quote in December 2025 and he was also on our job every single day. Our painting work was performed by Ernesto himself and one other contractor (Tony). They worked quite independently, diligently and were patient and easy to communicate with throughout the project as I was onsite (and watching intently) the entire time. Ernesto's and Tony's work was top-notch. Also, the office staff person, Sasha, did a great job, start to finish: first, in getting us scheduled in a very timely manner; all the way to the end, with final payment processing. We truly could not be happier. Our kitchen is large and our existing custom cabinetry was solid wood that was in really good shape and would have been such a waste to just get rid of. However, I also did not want our kitchen to look hodge-podge or cheap, as our home is quite grand. Anyway, the end result is the kitchen of my dreams! The newly painted finish looks seamless, brand new, and has held up beautifully to everyday use. It gives our kitchen a refreshed and totally elegant look.
