The week before Thanksgiving, we had to have our kitchen cabinets removed for some work in the wall behind them. Ugh! Two cabinets could not be reinstalled and some of the others were showing signs of wear after 20 years. We contacted Tucson Cabinets and Stoneworks in early December and worked with one of their team members to plan our remodel. We turned our island (gaining additional cabinet space), widened the space between the cabinets so two people can work in the space comfortably, and added a beverage center. To expedite, we ordered Mid-Content cabinets and a Cambria quartz countertop. Working with Barclay, Audra, and their amazing installers was a pleasure. When we ordered, we were given an installation date, and they were able to move us up a week. Our cabinets were delivered and unpacked the day before install with all packaging removed from our home. The installer arrived on time, and single-handedly installed all the cabinets in a day! He came back the next day to complete trim work and to note warranty replacements for a few cabinet doors that did not meet their standards. The next day, the countertop installer came out to measure for the slabs using lasers. One week later, we're only missing our backsplash (different contractor). I'll post a photo once that's in! We also were very happy that everyone we worked with in showroom and in our home adhered to COVID-19 precautions. All were respectful of us and our space. From start to finish, we're pleased with Tucson Cabinet and Stoneworks. When we get ready to remodel our bathroom, we'll be back! My partner and I highly recommend them. read more

I really wanted to like Tucson Cabinets. Their showroom was nice and the salespeople were friendly. I ordered nearly $40,000.00 worth of new cabinets from them. Twelve weeks later Tucson Cabinets phoned to tell me that my cabinets were ready to be installed. This is where e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g went wrong. So many mistakes were made by the manufacturer, the cabinet installers, and the store personnel that I could not believe this was the same company I met 3 months later. The installers failed to install the brackets underneath the cooktop to hold it up. Inevitably, the cooktop fell through the cutout and cracked my newly installed quartz crystal countertop. Tucson Cabinets failed to order the toe kicks that sit underneath the cabinets; it took many phone calls and 6 months!! for them to order them and for the company to come and install them. They mismeasured cabinets doors which had to be adjusted; failed to place cabinet skin on the bottom exterior of my cabinets (which I paid for), installed the wrong hinge hardware on several cabinet doors so that the doors slapped into the wall whenever they were opened. Some doors were not level which had to be readjusted. And more. If the company had not taken 6 months to install and correct their mistakes I might have been more forgiving. Instead, they claimed they were too busy to finish my job right away. Perhaps because they had already been paid for the job? Be careful before you hire these characters. read more

If you are looking for excellent communication, prompt attention, and consummate professionals from start to finish, Tucson Stoneworks is your place. My neighbor had used this company for her installation, so I got a first hand look at their work before picking them for my kitchen counters. Just because I am that kind of person, I went all over town talking to many people at kitchen and bath companies to get a good idea of selection, quality, price, etc,. No one compares to the experience I had at Tucson Stoneworks. When I arrived at their store, compared to other places, there were not tons of sample kitchen and bath areas set up for viewing, so I wasn't sure how things were going to go, but the employees in the store changed my initial opinion quickly. Audra took my template and had an estimate with my chosen samples by the next day. I asked a multitude of questions, all of which were answered very promptly, many answered within minutes, all phone calls returned promptly and the other employees were quick to respond if Audra was not available. In the end, I went to at least five different granite viewing companies in Tucson and two in Phoenix, so that I could have a really good selection to pick from. (Not to mention the estimates I received from other kitchen and bath companies.) When I had made my choice, Audra reserved my slabs, and just a few weeks later I had my counter tops. She was even able to move my original installation date UP a week!!! When does that ever happen!?! Personally, I enjoy workers that are tidy as I don't want to clean up a huge construction mess when they are done. The gentlemen who installed my granite were very respectful, careful when moving my furniture out of the way so they could get the big slabs into the kitchen, and they swept my entire kitchen clean when done. The measurements were dead on and the placement of the "grain" in the stone really shows off it's natural beauty. I cannot say enough good things about this company. If only more people recognized that good communication, showing up promptly, quick responses to questions, and delivering a very well done product gets the customer every time, the other kitchen stores would be as highly recommended as Tucson Stoneworks. read more

This is a wonderful company! We just did a bathroom remodel and the most beautiful parts of our renovation are the cabinets and quartz countertops from Tucson Cabinets and Stoneworks. From beginning to end Lindsey (cabinets) and Audra (quartz) were highly professional, helpful, and attentive to detail. When I had questions, they were there to help-- always getting back to me in a timely manner. We got numerous quotes from different companies for our quartz kitchen countertop and no one came close to matching these guys. Top quality product and the installation couldn't have gone better. We got to pick our slabs and were advised where best they could be cut and joined together for the veins that ran through the top. Tucson stonework have their our fabrication facility which is why they can leave others in the dust for price. Very nice people - expensive work I opted for what they described as low to mid-range & the final price was outrageous, in my opinion, for the quality that was offered. I have purchased massive pieces of quarter sawn oak furniture - chests of drawers, buffets even couches for far less than what they quoted for a 48" bathroom vanity that was most definitely not solid oak. I could get something of comparable quality on-line or at a local retailer for far less. Ended up working with a local custom cabinet maker & have ordered a cabinet with mostly solid wood content at the exact size I wanted (not the "standard" size they offered, which was smaller than I wanted) that matches my furniture and Santa Fe style interior doors at $1,000 less. The people at this company are very pleasant and professional but I also got the distinct impression that a single bathroom vanity was not that important to them and perhaps most of their business is with large kitchen or bath remodels. In contrast, I enjoyed working with a local artisan who custom crafted something for me and acted like he sincerely appreciated my business, however, small it was. They also quoted $575 for a very basic mirrored medicine cabinet with a wood frame. Instead, I opted for an artisan-crafted, custom quarter sawn solid oak Mission style cabinet for $218. I also don't know why someone would go here for counter tops when you can go directly to the source very easily here in Tucson (for example, Dorado Stone, which is where I got my beautiful counter top). Again, though, I'm sure that is an easier experience for some people to look at everything in the same place here rather than sourcing custom pieces. It's a choice, I just chose higher quality, more customization and a lower cost even though it did take a little extra time. read more

I cannot say enough about this company. We came in without a clue as to what we wanted or needed in our kitchen and bath remodeling project. Our new granite countertops are fantastic. And the service through the entire process was top notch. From the time Barclay, the owner, came out to do the initial measurements and give us a quote, through the installation of the counters, everyone we dealt with was friendly and competent. Barclay met us at the slab yard to help us avoid picking out granite that we liked, but which might have given us some problems down the road and to find an alternative that gave us a similar look. Due to the process they use with laser measurements for the templating our kitchen was only out of commission for a day. The installers were meticulous to make sure all the counters were completely level and that the seams are hardly noticeable. And they left the kitchen clean.
