I was looking for a 40th birthday present for my son and was looking at engraved whiskey decanters with 2 glasses. Walking into the store, we directly saw what we wanted. It was far too expensive so I proceeded to "shop" around the store. There was a woman behind the "Pick Up Orders" desk and at least 2 other young men standing behind computer desks in the shopping area. After making one pass around the store, I stopped to ask one of these young men for help. I was told he couldn't help me as he was "leaving to bring his step father to the doctor." Said he had to "be a grown-up" but someone else could help me. He yelled to "James" could he help me? I walked over to James and literally stood there while I was completely ignored. Ok, he was on the computer and likely finishing up something. Waited......waited.....until a young lady who had just walked through the door (probably from her lunch break) came up behind me and asked if she could help. Finally! She was helpful but we ended up walking out because everything was too expensive for me. But, it would have been nice if the first (or second) person would have taken the few minutes to explain the engraving proceedures and costs. Managers should be aware of the dismissive attitudes of those 2 employees. Never going back. read more
