The lower level offers the concessions, though there was a friendly staff person who came around and offered to take orders and bring things to your table for you. They showed a movie that was about 20 minutes or so long that reviewed the history of the boat and the area, and then the remainder of the time you could enjoy the river and area. It was interesting to hear about the history and nature of the area, plus how the community all came together to not only raise the funds for the recreation of the boat, but also spent hours putting the pieces together once they arrived. While it was tricky to find any information about the facilities or any customer reviews, I was able to make a quick reservation through Facebook Messenger the night before and received a prompt response. When my friends and I arrived for our reservation at noon we were greeted by Sam, a young Axe throwing expert, and his mother who instructed us on proper axe throwing form and safety. They were both friendly and kind and we had the beautiful facility to ourselves for an hour to play games and work on our technique. We also used the Jukebox to play music and really enjoyed our time there! Due to Covid, we all wore masks but were allowed to remove them once we were in our designated throwing area. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for fun covid-safe things to do in winter!
