After just two appointments with Dr. Simms and additional biometric (blood and saliva) testing, we both came to the conclusion that not only was I working against my thyroid by way of the foods that I was eating, but I was also suffering from iron and vitamin D deficiency. Additionally, I had moderate hormonal imbalances. These weren't far-fetched, non-Western conclusion, but founded in more accurate interpretations and more complete biometrics. The "prescription" was a variety of supplements to address deficiencies and excesses.
