I"ll preface this by saying that I don't get sick very often. Which is why I don't have a personal…read morephysician. Or sure- I go and do the obligatory physical every year with all the corresponding tests, but I've yet to find a doctor that I want to have a long term relationship with. Well- that all changed the other day when I visited Dr. Sachtleben. So what made me change my mind? First of all- his office squeezed me in even though I wasn't a regular patient. Much appreciated given I was sick and needed some help. Secondly- this guy listens. Took the time to hear why I was there all the while typing what I said into his computer so that he could refer back to it. We talked about a wide range of things and what I liked is that he did not offer up the standard doctor lines about things. There is always more than one way to solve an issue and Dr. Sachtleben subscribes to that theory. All in all- not only did he solve my health issue- but he built my trust which is what I ask for in someone who is going to partner with me on my health. He came recommended to me by another doctor that I know and trust and I feel good about recommending him here. Now if I could only learn to pronounce his name properly!!

She listens to all questions and concerns during office visits, makes you feel very comfortable, and is quick to follow up on test/lab results via the practice's Patient Portal - which is incredibly convenient. The office staff is wonderful and they have easy electronic Rx submission to your preferred pharmacy as well. Overall, I have been very pleased with my experiences at Lake Street Family Physicians and Dr. Sassetti. If you're in the area and looking for a Primary Care Physician, look no further.

They check on ill patients with follow-up phone calls, make excellent referrals, and treat patients with respect and care. They have late in the day hours and weekend hours. Because it is a small, independent practice, I've had some issues with getting an on-call response after hours. Dr. Sassetti herself is loved by my whole family. She's warm, interested, straight up with what's going on, and seems to remember and care about each of us. She's on point with recent findings, practical about treatments and an outstanding diagnostician.

So I called for an appointment and was told she could see me on August 18 (today is July 2). I have prescriptions that have to be monitored and maintained, and I also have a very painful issues with my arm. I don't think either can wait for August 18. They are two separate appointments and they won't combine them: one is "to establish care" and the other is an illness visit. Once I see her as a "wellness visit" on August 18, I would be able to "get in quicker" to see her in the future. For now, if I'd like to be seen and monitored by "someone else" who has more availability in their schedule I could do that. Well, I've had a terrible experience with a doctor in Chicago that left me with ongoing medical issues that could have been prevented. So I did my research and selected someone I felt I could trust. I was so very lucky to have that in New Orleans (from where I just moved) and I just wanted that again. I don't really want to see "someone else" that I don't know anything about and waiting 6+ weeks to see a doctor I researched heavily. So while I can't really rate Dr. Boyd herself, this is a warning to those who are looking for a doctor: even though her site says she is accepting new patients, I don't think she really has time for them. Be sure you can wait six weeks before seeing her if you choose her. I get why she's busy -- she's good. But why advertise that you're accepting new patients when you really don't have time for someone who needs you?

Dr. Ericson is incredibly disrespectful and has an awful bedside manner. Beside being rude to my…read morefamily when we were in the hospital when our son was born, she also violated our trust and desires as patients of hers. We were told that she would perform our newborn's circumcision at the hospital. This is something we felt very strongly we wanted done and put a lot of thought into the decision. She performed only a partial circumcision, betraying our trust and telling us that she didn't believe in the procedure after she had already done it. She completely defied our desires. Now my 15 month old son has to have this procedure revised because her original job was not only incomplete but it also was not done properly, and the foreskin has re-adhered and it can cause infections, pain, and other problems in the future. Dr. Ericson is truly a disrespectful and unprofessional doctor and I believe she should be at least reprimanded for her complete lack of concern for what parents want for their children. If she doesn't believe in circumcision, she should not be allowed to perform the procedure - plain and simple. Furthermore, she also berated me when I was 9 months pregnant for drinking apple juice that her nurse gave me. She made me cry, and then was impatient and rude with me. I think she is an awfully unpleasant person. She should not be dealing with pregnant women and newborn babies. I am disgusted by her and truly upset that I did not trust my gut instinct when she walked into my hospital room and ask her to take her hands off of my son. I highly recommend that if you are newly pregnant you do everything in your power to avoid seeing Dr. Ericson. The unfortunate thing is that everyone else in her practice is wonderful.

I was crying in pain in his chair and he comforted me and actually had an amazing bed side manner. I have had to return to his office many time for check ups on my hearing that I lost with the terrible infection. He was very positive on me getting my hearing back but I was not--After about 6 months it has now all returned!!! He kept me as positive as I could be and treated me like family. I just saw him for my last check up and was sad to leave. I needed another opinion for a hip issue and asked if he has someone he could recommend and yes he did. And that man is very nice too! Dr. Sage is so calm, present, thorough, friendly, and supportive. Her care is evidence-based and she explains the "why" behind each recommendation. Like today, I went in for an annual physical, and she and her staff (MA Sandra is fabulous, too) explained each test, measurement, and the purpose and possible side effects of the vaccine I was given. The appointment started exactly on time and lasted 30 minutes, which is great. No one rushes you through! It is super handy having a lab in the same building. I just walked across the waiting area and was all able to get all of my lab work done almost immediately. Office is new, super clean, lovely lobby, free garage parking (if less than 90 minutes) and excellent COVID protocols in place including pre-screening phone calls, temperature taking, masks, distancing, hand sanitizer, and limited paperwork. We highly recommend Dr. Sage and our family feels super lucky to have found her!!

I had…read morepreviously had some chiropractic care about 10 years ago & was suffering from neck & back pain and my husband also had back pain, so we decided to pursue Family Tree Chiropractic. From day 1 we have truly enjoyed our experience here. Dr. Whitney, Tyana, & Frances are all so professional and friendly which makes for such a welcoming environment! My husband's and my back pain went away with consistent visits. I was treated after a car accident & never felt terrible pain because Dr. Whitney got to work right away. She also adjusted me during my entire pregnancy (1st pregnancy) which I personally felt was such an easy, seamless, pain-free pregnancy in large part to my regular adjustments. Dr. Whitney referred us to a doula group & midwifery group, I'm so thankful because my previous doctor's office was not cutting it for me once I got pregnant. I had an amazing experience with the midwives she recommended! Our daughter is now 5 months and has been a patient since about 10 days old. Dr. Whitney helped to identify a tongue tie & referred us to a pediatric dentist (which was also a great experience). We have never had any latching issues (she referred me to 2 lactation consultants which were great), baby sleeps well, has good digestion, etc. I feel that our entire family's immune systems are in such great shape due to our chiropractic care..... to summarize, Dr. Whitney has helped us CONTINUOUSLY in more ways than one with taking care of our own health and providing us referrals to other specialists so that we can receive similar care outside of her scope.
