Since my car been written off and they got a cheque still owe a bit but since ive been carless and been ubering to work having a hard time keeping up with bills since been paying uber more than half my pay cheeque. I reach out to them to see if they can hold off so i can get everythint sorted out since the car is nearly paid off only have less than 2 grand and was told "Payments are required to be maintained regardless of personal or transportation expenses." *BEWARE * My husband bought a truck from Troy's Toys in November 2021. The financing was through Carma Cars. In July 2023, my husband wanted to buy out the truck. Axis refused to allow my husband to purchase the vehicle. They ghosted him. Jennifer Galvez and Santiago Godinho ensured that my husband's money was not being added to the loan. My husband's bank noted that the payments were not being added to the loan. When my husband inquired about records, he was met with conflict and dismissal. Moving forward, my husband was advised to stop payment until the loan was settled. Axis refused a buy-out. My husband is a veteran and he served for the UN. On November 11th, the truck was towed away by Axis. My husband has now retained a lawyer and has finally paid out the loan. However, the lot where the truck is being held refuses to release the truck. While all of this is happening, we have been trying to prepare our house for sale. Our lives have been disrupted and turned upside-down. My husband has lost a tremendous amount of weight. He is sleep deprived and has lost his appetite. My stress levels have been elevated to anxiety attacks and hypertension stage 1. I'm not sure how much more we can withstand. Whatever you do refuse any loans with Trend, Carma or Car Loans Canada, they all fall under Axis Auto Finance. You will be dragged into a web of pain and suffering. read more

I wish I could do a zero star review. This company are big time scammers! Please be aware!!! I had a 5 year loan with them, which I paid on time always. Last year in June they charge me my last payment. On May 10 almost a year later they contact me by phone to tell me there was a "glitch" in their system and that there was a balance on my account. This people have all my banking information and said they will put in payments the next day whether I agree or not. I ask them to send me proof of this so called balance and it looks like something that was done by a 5 year old. I have reported them to FCAC and I am alerting anyone who has ever had a loan with them to please change your banking information and for those seeking financing Please think twice before dealing with these scammers. read more

My account fell behind $1100 and a MR. Brian CABLE emailed me after one attempt at communicating me an extremely nasty and sarcastic email filled with mockery and judgment about my case. Instead of attempting to rectify the account with compassion and concern as to why the account has fallen behind, I feel attacked. It is 2021, Axis Auto perhaps should consider company training on running a business with ethics and sensitivity training. it should be mandatory for characters, my apologies MANAGERS like Mr. Brian CABLE to attend and complete the training. instead of continuing my lease with this company I will be returning the vehicle as of January 1st, 2022 and will be writing reviews on every forum that they are part of and warning other potential clients of their practice. read more

Have had to buy 3 vehicles using Axis. They are an extremely greedy corporation.. I would like to clarify. I paid off one vehicle, the second was written off shortly after we got it due to a drunk driver, they rolled the 2nd into a 3rd and refused to give me a better percent than sub-prime. They did this, knowing i couldn't go anywhere due to having 2 loans, basically. They are an extremely greedy company. Traded in my car June 2 company paid off my loan here it is July 3 after many calls for they received my dealers check they say June 11 but needs 10 business days to clear then another 10 to send back balance of over payment for they still took payment out after my trade. Blaming the covid for their slowness. And policy change. Well Covid has affected the whole planet but this company seems they will benefit by it by holding back money they owe out. In short they had my money since June 11 2020 and it sits in their bank account gathering interest till they decide to send it out. Stay away, if your dealer tries to set you up with these guys, pass! I learnt this the hard way. They take advantage of especially newcomers with no credit and people with bad credit with ridiculously high interest rate. They are not open with you to start with, they connive with the dealers and before you know it, you are stuck with them, putting unsuspecting first time buyers in a position that ruins their finances for long time. Mind you, if your dealer is pushing you to sign a lease with them, know that they are doing that because they get their cut in the form of commission. After paying off my lease, their sales guys kept calling me to ask if I needed another car loan for six months straight. One day I receive an email about an expired insurance coverage so I call them to find out what is going on, only for them to surprise me with another bill . They claim they did not receive my last payment, meanwhile I had an automated direct payment arrangement with them the whole duration of the lease and additionally, I needed to pay some applicable taxes. This had accumulated interest and for that reason I still owe them. Mind you, I did not miss a single payment in the duration of the lease and it was direct deposit payment which they deducted from my bank account directly every single time. When I challenged them, they blamed it on a system glitch. This is a deliberate glitch in business processes and systems to get more out of the customer even after they have they are done with them. A computer system that knows to calculate interest on delinquent accounts doesn't know to let customers know their account is delinquent so they can continually charge interest? They told me, this is a glitch in the system that has affected all customers, like I'm so suppose to feel good about it. I asked them why they have not called to let me know about this six months after my lease, because their sales people always call me to ask if I'm in the market for another car loan. This a just capitalist driven system deliberately created to continually exploit and rob the poor while they pay their shareholders who rub their excesses in our faces of the poor. I wonder what they do with all those excesses. Do not deal with them, stay away from them especially if you have no credit or bad credit, it only makes it worst. If you're buying a car for the first time, take your time, take it easy, because companies like these ones will only exploit you. They don't have the volumes they need so they employ these dubious tactics for more profit. I know, I regret ever dealing with them. I have been stuck with them for 6 years now, and I can't still shake them off. And this is not because I didn't meet my obligation to them, I never missed a payment, they know it. THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE! For your own sanity STAY AWAY from these guys. If a dealership recommends this company, find another car. They are liars. Almost three years of BS with these people. I had to change the date of my payment, which I'd done successfully before, 48 hours before the auto withdrawal date (the rule is you can change your date up to 48 hours before). I was told by DELLY in Customer Service that my previous payment was still listed as pending and to wait until the next day to make sure that it processed as paid. I mentioned the 48 hour rule, but was assured by him that it could still be changed the day before. In fact, Delly seemed offended that I questioned him about this rule! So, I took his advice and called the next day. Guess what? HE'D LIED! My previous payment showed up as paid but I was unable to change the upcoming payment date. I was sent to the Accounting department who told us that there was NO ONE NAMED DELLY working there! This is just one of the many crazy games that this company put us through in three years of hell! I was a customer of Trend Financial. This company was bought by AXIS auto financial. I made all of my car payments on time and paid my last payment and the FEE! they charge to end my contract. They then took another car payment 2 weeks after my last payment and are not giving back the unauthorized payment. They manager Santiago is RUDE and refuses to expedite my money refund it has now been over 10 days of getting nowhere!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. This company is the worst . I called over a month ago to pay my car loan off in full .. after 2 weeks the money was still in my account and still could not get awnsers why .. then finally someone figured out they deleted my banking info before the took the funds out. Human error - I understand .. but it has been non stop weekly calls being promised to get calls back to get this paid. I finally figured out how to pay it out ad I paid the amount owing flat out .. then I got a bill saying I owed the interest for the past month that was caused because of THIER MISTAKE! I called again once I received the email saying I Owed them more money - and was promised another call back - and after a week of no phone calls I have been informed MY INTEREST IS STILL GOING UP ! THEY MADE A MISTAKE PROMISED AND REASSURED THIS WOULD NOT EFFECT MY FINAL AMOUNT OWING AND NOW ARE CONTINUING TO NOT GIVE ME ANSWERS AND CHARGE ME FOR IT . My daughter purchased an SUV from these thieves. Was obviously a "bogus" safety done on the Jeep. The odometer showed obvious signs of tampering. They were great at first, got me a good quote and got me financed. However the aftermath once they got my business was horrendous. Customer service was not helpful at all , provided no options for helping me solve the problem . Gave me an ultimatum of " Sorry that's too bad". Continued charging my account after I left them & are asking for more money and continue to harass me . Managers refused to help me , I tried calling them and they didn't pick up my calls, I tried emailing them and they sent me going in circles never answering my question. Sent me modified documents when I asked for legal documentation. Then when I switched insurance policies they sent out a bailiff saying I had to have insurance or else they would repo the car back , long story short bailiff never came out and charged me for the services . I asked for the bailiffs contact information so I could resolve it but they refused and modified the original documents when they sent it to me .I never ever recommend this company to anyone even if your strapped to get financed. read more

I have been a customer with them for almost 3 years without any problems and the one time I fall back on a payment, they treat me so rudely as if I'm not going to pay off my car. Worst Company Ever! Never deal with them. the company's agents never follow rules put by the government to protect you from harassment when calling, they disclose private information about you when leaving voice mails even if they are not calling your number. Make sure to record your calls with them every time to cover your behind and have proof if you want to report them as I'll soon be doing. It is your right to record the calls but by law, you must let them know that the calls are being recorded. if you miss just a single payment they are on you as if you have missed payments for a full year and I used to work as a 3rd party collection agent working accounts that are over 3 months past due and even then we worked with people and treated them with respect, they talk to you as if they own you (very rude and unprofessional), even if you have made an arrangement for payment with them don't be surprised if you receive a call from them the next day if not the same day, because their agents never read the note on file. If you think that they will help you fix your credit, you will be mistaken, they are just blood-sucking parasites who can't wait for you to fail, they don't care if you lost your job or have a death in your family when time are hard they will make harder on you. Run. Please please please run. If I could shake me from 3 years ago I would. I would have begged myself to wait a month and not deal with these crooks. The red flags started right at the start. Offering one interest rate then increasing it, then making me borrow even more for an increased "down payment." Then they don't stop taking the money for the extra "loan" 6 months later. Now at the end of my term after NEVER missing a single payment, they're adding fees out of no where, for insurance cancellation a year ago? I changed policies to save money. My insurance was never canceled or lapsed. This was corrected with them immediately back in 2017, and no fees were told to me over a year ago. I got a statement last week to buyout and no fee was there. Then they text me saying there's a balance owing. So I call to fix it, I'm told the fee is removed. I have email proof that the fee was supposed to be removed. I get another statement today and it's now been ADDED to my statement when it wasn't there last week, rather then be removed. They're affecting my ability to complete my new car loan with a reputable lender. Please go with anyone else. These people are crooks. Squeezing every last penny at the very end of my lease that I've paid on time every month for 3 years. This place preys on the desperate and I swear to you, you will regret doing business with them.
