Since moving to our house five years ago, we have not had our carpet professionally cleaned…read more Although we've rented a Rug Doctor in the past, the results from professional cleaning far surpass those from using a Rug Doctor. Scheduling the carpet cleaning service was effortless and all done online with an instant quote, which helped us make an informed decision on cost. I almost replaced my old carpet but I'm glad I avoided that hefty cost and hired Seahorse Carpet Cleaning who made my old carpet look new again. Eugene and Alexis came to our house within the scheduled window and completed a walkthrough of the house. They checked for pet stains using a UV light and pretreated those areas. They answered my questions and remained professional throughout the cleaning process. I will definitely call them back for future carpet cleaning needs.

Tried setting up appointment and quote online. Entered all info asked for and got a message…read morestating it couldn't be scheduled. Eventually, through texts and a few calls got set up. Original quote was for 3 rooms a little over 600. We declined and they sent a new quote of 300. For same 3 rooms. After accepting, they showed up ontime. Tech was very informative and pleasant. He completed the cleaning and explained the swirl marks would go away when dry. The next day the marks very visible all over the lighter carpet. We called and sent pics to office manager and she stated they would reschedule to come back at for no charge to finish the task and we never heard from them again. I would steer clear of them and look for a more reputable company.

Patrick, Andrew Anthony and Cole did a phenomenal job! They came on time, and were professional,…read moreefficient, and took care of the entire situation in a timely manner. Additionally, they placed protective plastic on everything so all stayed neat and clean. I can Highly recommend DryTime Restoration!

Are you here because something just went wrong in your house, and you're kind of freaking out?…read moreStop, and call these people. These are your people. Our toilet overflowed and left water in the ceiling. I called them and explained, and Ian worked it out so that he could come check it out the next day. I didn't know the first thing about what to do, how insurance works, needing to immediately mitigate, anything. Ian gave me the honest advice and I can tell you from the other side of mitigation--9 affected areas later--trusting him paid off. Start to finish, everyone we interacted with was down to earth and honest and just was on their shit. As someone who is cynical about business and insurance, these dudes were quite literally like my advocates with the whole process, insurance steps included. They made sure they were there bright and early when the insurance adjuster came.. all of it. I immediately trusted them for advice. At the end, Aris came along just to help us with the next steps of reconstruction--something DryTime doesn't even necessarily do themselves. He just wanted us to be set up for everything. Even the weekend people who came to check how the moisture was dissipating were awesome. Text me to let me know they locked up behind them when I had to leave before them. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I can't say enough good things about the people that were all up in my business for days. I was really happy to have them on our side. Shouting out the people from DryTime who saved our butts in no particular order: Ian Jesse Markees Josh Ashton Corey Aris Mark Seriously, thanks guys. If you're currently needing some kind of water damage mitigation... CALL THEM.

Next Step Northwest - Flooring Install in Vancouver, WA

    Next Step Northwest

I hired Next Step NW in June. It is now mid November and we are nearing completion on what I was…read moretold would be a 3-5 day project. We finally started work in mid October (4 weeks ago). The main problems were lack of communication (once just showed up at my house one morning with an hour's notice but I hadn't seen the text bc I was sleeping), lack of project/sub contractor management, and poor planning. I have a permanent temporary fix on the kitchen sink plumbing because the plumber was called in too late in the project. My cabinet, counter, and backsplash are all off by about 3 inches and I was just told to live with it. We also can barely fit the oven in the space allotted for it. In an effort to try to speed things along, I had paid a couple of subcontractors (chosen by my contractor) directly. I was then told that bc I paid them, he didnt have to manage that part of the project. Additional issues: tile was installed so that a large grout line was noticeable. I brought this to the contractor's attention and he said that once the excess was wiped up it would look good (not the case). It took some convincing to get him to fix it. At no point has the contractor apologized or even acknowledged that things haven't gone as planned. To be fair, a lot of the work looks very nice (minus what is mentioned above) which is why I did 2 stars instead of 1. I do NOT recommend hiring this company for contracting.

First I contracted Home Depot which use a third party to do flooring ..Let's put it this way…read more.. Home Depot third party was very unprofessional and did not do a good job. I contacted Next Step Northwest and communication was GREAT! They finished the job in less then half time then Home Depot Contractors. A plus is Northwest will Do the caulking as well! Where others will not. They did a better job than Home Depot contractors and I will be using them for my other projects in my home. Shayne and his employees are able to do plumbing, painting, kitchen remodels, anything you can think of, they can do! Also they are a great price. They cost the same as homedepot flooring with the install but Home Depot did not include caulking. Also trim looked AWFUL with Home Depot contractors. I Called around and getting estimates Shayne was better in price then other private contractors and local businesses. His team has great customer service, and can do pretty much anything! He takes pride in his work and goes the extra mile to ensure it looks great!!
