As of 2025, I will never return to HMC and have established at a different clinic. I attribute the great fall of care and huge loss of employees to the new medical director there for the last 2.5 years. Administrators do not care about their employees leaving. Currently the only choice given to me as a provider was a new NP right out of school and lacking experience. They cannot replace the experienced providers I had for my health issues. A ONE star rating is the lowest I could give them.

If PrairieStar collects your co-pay, that is all you pay and you don't get bills for normal visits. No more over-bloated bills that they write off a tiny bit to make it look like they are being nice. I don't know how the Hutch Clinic stays in business. PrairieStar is easy to get an appointment, honest and you don't sit for an hour before being seen. I am really happy with the service we get.

This is a long story that I will attempt to abridge. I am a patient with Autism. This was disclosed…read moreupon my arrival to the ER. I had fallen, and have extreme shoulder pain as a result. While I admit the decision to travel from Pratt to Hutch may have been rash, I have been in so much pain for long enough that I was desperate. So I made the drive. The nurse that checked me in was so sweet and caring. She took my information (including my autism diagnosis) and put me in the waiting room. I was called into what would describe as a semi storage room with a chair. Ok, they may have been full, I get it. However, when the PA arrived I mentioned something about how much pain I was in. It seems my words were not what she wanted to hear because she went off, accusing me of manipulating her for drugs. When I attempted to explain that I have Autism and am under extreme duress, her exact words were "I do not care what you have. That does not matter to me. I will not be manipulated". I sat in that small room, never moved, only seen for a cursory CT exam which was rushed and half hearted. I saw the nurse for a shot of toroidal and a lidocaine patch. The PA came in again. No acknowledgement of the previous interaction, nothing. She gave me a sling and left. The experience left me emotionally traumatized at the accusation, dismissed as a drug addict, and eyes opened to the fact that violation of the ADA is acceptable. I wouldn't send my dying child to this facility. He has autism, too. I shudder to think how he would be treated.
