Our longtime family photographer was not available, and so we scoured the local area for one for this occasion. My family is a bit selective on photography, and we heavily screen online portfolios before following up with anyone. I liked what we saw on J&S's website. Jess came to my house and was fantastic to work with, especially with little kids. She has a great personality, and has an engaging manner with little kids (a lot of experience photographing little kids). it was nice to visit her studio to review the proofs with her. I found the photo packages very reasonable with respect to the local competition, and the quality was exactly what I was looking for - natural, minimal post-processing (i.e. not a lot of fancy effects).
