After 5 lawyers, 4 guardian ad items and $6,000+ later...NOTHING ever got ruled in my favor. I'm a single mother with limited financial resources. I needed a 'NO NON SENSE" type of lawyer who would not only listen to me but take me and my dollar seriously! Patrick is also organized, knowledgeable of the law and has experience! He did not waste anytime on my case! He filed subpoenas and other court documents ON TIME! He kept it real with me at all times regarding the details of my case. Regardless of how ugly it was, he was HONEST! He worked with me when it came time to pay him. He didn't try to 'price gouge' me or make it about money. Their abusive father abused my granddaughter and Kristen convinced the judge to flip custody...placing my granddaughter with her abuser and in danger. It totally messed up the lives of both my grandkids, my daughter and our whole family. It did not work out well for anyone and made my granddaughter suicidal. I cannot begin to describe the damage this person did to all of us! What a stupid plan....trying to force my granddaughter to reestablish a relationship with someone who abused her! She should have been able to remain in her moms stable care where she was thriving and given the time and space to heal then maybe the relationship could have been saved if and only if no more abuse occurred. STAY AWAY! We have had the worst experience EVER! She treats you like a case number and not like a…read moreclient. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! We retained Mrs Tonita Foster and had her as our attorney for about a month. She is not able to perform to the ability that she makes you think. She filed divorce papers on grounds of adultery only to get to court and have no recollection of certain documents of which she used as basis for the divorce papers. We went to court only having met with her at the time we retained her. She did not take any time before court to review any documents or build any type of case. She charges for phone calls made even when the secretary doesn't know the answer or gives some generic answer. Take my advice and keep looking for a more qualified attorney. We were quoted $5000 due to the fact of the adultery but after we met with her we were told there wasn't enough evidence but still charged the full amount. We have since retained another attorney but Mrs Tonita Foster refuses to give a reasonable refund so we want to make sure that everyone is aware of their unfair business practices. She is very forgetful and in my opinion just wants your money without putting in the necessary steps to build a successful case. The following is an update from the above paragraph. Ok so it gets even better! Mrs Tonita Foster had agreed to refund $3000 but since they found out we posted reviews online they are only refunding a portion of that. This place is a joke! Make sure you pay with a credit card so that you are able to dispute any charges. We are submitting a letter to the BBB so make sure to check her out there. The only reviews online are negative so do your homework and choose a more competent attorney
