Terrible business model. They said they don't set up at parks, because they don't have the man…read morepower. It sounds like B.S. Maybe the grass is too sharp? Seems like it would be the same as setting it up at a house. I guess I just don't understand the rocket science that is involved in blowing up balloons...

I am the event organizer for an annual rib cook off here in the tri-state area, whose proceeds are…read moredonated to local charities. In Feb, I contacted Kyle Polansky, the owner of Hava Jump Rentals about donating or offering a discount for two bouncy houses/slides for this event. In return, I agreed to promote this business as well as his other business, Pro Power by putting both logos on our official rib shirts as well as acknowledgment in the Mohave Daily News and our local paper, The Topock Topics. He asked me to send him a confirmation of our agreement, which I did. In return, he would charge me $100 down payment and $100 the day of the event for two houses. I paid the down payment of $100 and sent him the agreement. He had no problem with the written agreement, which specifically stated he would be set up and ready for use by 10:30 am and would take the houses down at 4:30 pm. Well, this past Sat (March 25th), he showed up 80 mins late!! My husband paid him the other $100. The realty office, who was going to allow the bounce house the use of their power, had closed because he was so late, however, they left me a # to call when he did decide to show up. My husband called and she stated she was on her way. Well, in the meantime, Kyle decided he didn't like the logos on the shirts because they didn't have his phone # on them (well, guess what...you weren't the ONLY sponsor and there were other sponsors who donated a lot more $$ than you, and NO sponsor #s were on the shirts), AND, I also agreed to promote Pro Power, which wasn't even a sponsor. Then he threw a pity party, told my husband he was leaving and started packing up. The realty person showed up, with the electrician while he was still there, to open the business for the power he needed, but he refused to set up, He whined, cry-babied and told my husband he had another gig in Havasu and was leaving. My husband said he felt bad about the kids, to which Kyle just shrugged his shoulders and stated "I gotta go". My husband asked him for the $100 back, which he gave back, but then told my husband he was keeping the $100 down payment I previously paid him for gas. I am going to chock this fiasco up to the apparent youth of Kyle and with some youth comes immaturity, some...more immature than others. It was apparent to me that Kyle had something else he wanted to do more than this charitable event. it's sad that he decided to handle it so poorly with temper tantrums and pity-me party, and sadly, the only ones that missed out, were the children, who showed up in droves to play in the bouncy house. All we could do was apologize and assure it wouldn't happen again. I would NEVER recommend this business, nor will I ever do business with them again!! At least not until he grows up!!
