A new restaurant to yarraville at only five weeks old. It is extension of the the original restaurant in Seddon but with a much larger kitchen they can do steaks and oysters. The one is seddon probably does more home style Japanese cuisine. The owner actually would like to sell the restaurant in Seddon. There is range of Japanese plum wines, beers and whiskeys to try. Try the Coedo black larger, it pretty smooth with no hint of bitterness. The croquette were sensational. The prawn gyoza, the dough of gyoza tasted like they were freshly made and had a delicate taste. The kirage chicken had touch of barbeque sauce, but I found the chicken had succulentness to it. The swordfish fillet with miso sauce on top of the filet was great, the miso sauce goes well with the sword fish. And the tofu was also good. The place was packed on Sunday evening at 8pm but for Yarraville that was late and it pretty much clearer out by 8.30pm. By 9.30pm there was only 3 tables and the restaurant is opened to 10.30pm. read more
