Don't waste your time. The food is overpriced. The service is terrible. At 4 in the afternoon, we had to wait to be seated. After we were seated it took 15 minutes for a waitress to come to us. Then we waited over half an hour for our food. It looked like slop on a plate and had no taste. I can cook a better meal at home. The servers treat you like you are doing them a favor by coming in. There are so many better small Mexican restaurants in the area. Definitely stay away from here. read more

This chain does not care about customer service. I have been there multiple times. each time, I have had a negative experience. I try to give benefit of the doubt since they just opened, and I would like go support local businesses, but they make this extremely tough. First time we came in, was the 2nd week of opening which I understand was still fairly new, but we were the only couple at the bar, waited 15 minutes to get greeted. we were one of 2 couples at the bar. The food was actually pretty good, so we wanted to try again. We left a decent tip and because we understand this happens, we decided to give it another shot. The most recent time we went, my beer was watered down, and I was trying not to complain but decided to say something, waited 15 minutes for her to come back and nicely mentioned that it just did not taste correct, mind you we know exactly what it should taste like. The response from the bartender was "well you know if I give you another one it will taste the same" the rudest response and without any care for the customer, without even consulting or asking me any questions. Then she proceeded to demand they just changed the keg and did not even listen to what I was saying. I was truly appalled at the way these employees are allowed to talk to customers. The food is pretty good, but for me, customer service is #1. I refuse to support a restaurant that does not understand this. If you want great Mexican food along with the BEST service, Don Tequila is right down the street, we went there and had a great night with amazing service. read more

Very disappointing. The margarita tasted like spiked Mountain Dew and my food tasted like a more adult version of Taco Bell. Nearly $70 bill (which included a 3% credit card fee), food that tasted like fast food, and the server never came to check on us. We won't be back. Best Mexican restaurant in area service is top notch and menu is eclectic and very reasonable priced

This has quickly become our new favorite spot for Mexican food. My wife, daughter and I have enjoyed a number of different dishes over five visits, and have not been disappointed once. I absolutely love the bacon wrapped shrimp, and the Cadillac margaritas are the right combo of strong & flavorful. Service is usually prompt, and our orders come out quickly. read more

We always receive great service when we go to Azteca. Their food is the best I have ever had.

I'll start with the good - this place has a nice atmosphere and nice outdoor dining section. Now on to the bad - the food and drink did not make me want to go back. The tortilla chips were not salted. The margaritas tasted like awful fruit juice, I didn't even want to finish mine. I always finish a margarita. I got an enchilada and it just had no flavor. My mom also said her food was very bland. Sadly the food and drink here were very disappointing especially for the price. read more

Opted for carry out for our first experience but it was enough that we will not return to dine in. Very expensive for the food actually received and the taste was bland. The OMG Queso Nachos had only a drizzle of Queso - we added chicken to them and received steak. The Veggie Tacos barely had any veggies, also bland. The Mexican rice was mushy with no flavor. Good food, but there's something off about the alcohol. I paid top dollar for good tequila and it tasted like gasoline. I was at the bar so I saw the bartender pour it out of the correct bottle. Bet someone is tampering with the bottles. There was also a tattooed male employee that was seen being inappropriate with the women employees. I went to Azteca for the first time with my husband last night and it will definitely be the last time also. The restaurant wasn't busy (as most aren't nowadays) so we were hoping for some good, fresh food with great service. We got neither one of those things. Our waitress was young and had the personality of a fruit fly, acting very bored and uninterested in serving us. She disappeared for long periods of time. When we placed our order, the food came quickly. My order was wrong, but worst of all, my carnitas were pale in color, smelled funny, and were freezing cold inside. Looks like they didn't microwave them enough in the kitchen. She took them back and brought me the chimichangas. I had them filled with the grilled chicken since she assured me that would be cooked fresh (they normally come with chorizo but I am not a fan). It tasted fine, but pretty bland. You have to mix the cilantro lime rice yourself and both the Mexican rice and cilantro lime rice were extremely dry. I might have given two stars since the chicken was okay, but the service was just unacceptable. Don't waste your time going here. I don't see this place lasting too long anyhow. read more

The food is delicious so it's a shame the service was so poor. We ordered queso but she didn't bring chips and when she finally came back with them we had our entrees so it was cold. Blamed that on the person who delivers chips. Drinks were wrong - she gave ours to the wrong table. I had an order of steak fajitas to go but they gave me chicken it's unfortunate I didn't catch it until I got home. Prices are very high. Next time I'll go back to El Rodeo. read more
