Back on the Lake County Taco Trail. This is our 4th stop. Very authentic establishment. Small place just three 4 tops and two 2 tops. You order at the counter and seat yourself. They bring your food out. The tortillas are all homemade along with the beans and rice. Nothing out of a can or box here. Worth the drive out. And the size of the tortillas are X-Large!! read more

Great food made with care. Slight wait when picking up, yet it was ok, I had nowhere to be. Out of cacti to place in two of the three items yet was told upon arriving and asked if we were ok to place what they had in the quesadilla with extra veggies. Store was clean and pictures hanging on wall were colorful to look at. Salsas are awesome and has good heat to them ( the roja ). Food portions are generous as where the condiments they came with. Got on their website and placed a lunch order. Real simple easy to use and worked like a charm. Ordered the tacos with steak and pork, and the gordita with chorizo and spicy pork. All with rice and refried beans. The rice was excellent even had corn in it. It's the small things that set this place apart from others. The spicy pork option should be selected, it was tender moist and spicy. We plan on returning, soon. Neat little place next to a drive thru beverage. Small interior with tables, but two large picnic tables outside for the warmer weather. Nice motorcycle destination. read more

This spot is easily the best food in the Painesville/Mentor area. The meat is so flavorful and has that nice smoky grilled taste. I got alpastor and chorizo tacos.
