Came here with a group of people and thought the food was mediocre (but keep in mind, I am a sushi…read moresnob - I've had omakase numberous of times at very authentic Japanese restaurants and I have yet to find something in Curitiba that matches up). Not the best Japanese food in the area but the service was good as well as the presentation of the food. They have a wide variety of items on the menu - so for people that don't eat seafood - there's still a lot of options for you :) The ambiance is pretty nice - it's got a cozy feel to it. We ordered sushi, sashimi and some kitchen items. I would say the hot roll (which is a cooked roll) was my favorite.. typically I like raw fish better but this definitely hit the spot and we ordered more. I thought the shrimp tempura was a little too fried and doughy. The dessert was good - I ordered my favorite while I'm in Brazil, which would be the Papaya Cream.

Although this was one of the better sushi places I've been to in Brazil (3 and counting), I can say that I enjoyed my meal, but it wasn't the best In that the maguro sashimi still had a lot of gristly stringy fiber trailing one end. I'm sure it is just the way it was cut, but not appetizing to see on what should be a fresh cut piece of raw tuna. I've noticed Salmon seems to be the common choice here in Brazil. I'm not sure if the white sashimi was ahi or not, but it did have a not as fresh as can be flavor. As much as this review sound negative, I would go back and try other dishes or even more sushi. It could of been the day I went, but overall I enjoyed my meal. The presentation was nice and I appreciated the service I received from servers, who were being patient with my lack of the local language.
