It was really good and the broth used in it was the thin, transparent, light version which was just fine because I still couldn't finish the bowl. Gyoza was nice and crispy. The staff was very friendly and even though the restaurant was closing soon after we arrived, there was no rush to get out. Free WiFi is always a plus as well :)

Nonetheless, there are three steps to order - First, pick your meat and or veggies. You can't combine pork and chicken, which is a bit limiting. Second, pick your type of noodle - udon, yakisoba noodles, etc Third, you can pick your sauce - there's traditional yakisoba but also thai, barbeque and some other flavors. It all is cooked up in a wok and is pretty salty and comes in a to go box, even if you eat there. Cheap, but if you're looking for the real deal, I'd steer clear. One of the better sushi restaurants in Curitiba. The sushi is fresh. The cool thing with Azuki is…read morethat it is a rodizo of sushi on a conveyor belt. So you just sit at your table and the sushi passes your table on the belt. If you like it, then you take the plate. If you don't like it, then just leave it on the belt and someone else can take it. The rodizo is a little less than R$70. If you come in during lunch, then you have the option of choosing to do the rodizo by plate or an all you can eat at a fixed price. However, if you're a big eater, there's no way you're going to pay R$6.70 / plate. What I also like about Azuki (besides the fact that they have free wifi ... Just ask them for the password) is that if you want to specifically order something, you can and don't have to wait. Sometimes, the chef will put the food on the conveyor belt so you have to pray that nobody else takes it before it reaches you. Other times, the waiters will directly bring you the plate. I wanted some wasabi so the chef put a plate of wasabi on the conveyor belt for me but I didn't see it so the waiter actually pointed at the wasabi as it was passing so that I could grab Azuki has a fenced off parking right next to the restaurant and they have a guy who they pay to watch over the cars. This isn't really a valet service where you have to pay the guy but if the lot is full, you can give him your keys and he will park it. Just remember to tip him because he is a struggling student composer. Seriously, he is. but he's super friendly so I gave him some money to help him out.

I would say the hot roll (which is a cooked roll) was my favorite.. typically I like raw fish better but this definitely hit the spot and we ordered more. I thought the shrimp tempura was a little too fried and doughy. The dessert was good - I ordered my favorite while I'm in Brazil, which would be the Papaya Cream.

It could of been the day I went, but overall I enjoyed my meal. The presentation was nice and I appreciated the service I received from servers, who were being patient with my lack of the local language.

I highly recommend the ceviche and nigiri samplers. I wish they had the omakase, many items on the menu were no longer available. Next time I go, I want to try some of the scallop dishes which looked pretty interesting. It's better to arrive early, once it gets packed the food can take a very long time. Only complaints: Wifi didn't work. It seemed like they seared nigiri with a blowtorch which gave a slightly gassy flavor. Dessert took a very long time to arrive, but they remediated the situation.
