I am very disappointed in how Azura Credit Union handled my auto loan account and a simple goodwill request. A late payment was reported that was not a true missed payment, but a small carryover after my spouse tried to set up bi-weekly payments. This account has been active for 3 years without any issues, and this is the only blemish on the record. All payments since have been made in full and on time. When my spouse called to clarify, the Loan Manager hung up on her. We then emailed several times, but those messages were ignored after we asked for documentation of Azura's own records. Finally, we wrote to the CEO and Board of Directors, only to receive a form denial. What troubles me most is that Azura promotes values like integrity, accountability, and commitment to members, but our experience did not reflect those values at all. Instead of fairness and open communication, we were met with dismissive treatment and silence. If you are considering Azura, be aware that while they speak about member service, our experience showed the opposite. We expected professionalism and accountability, and unfortunately, did not see either. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. All I wanted was an email (which should be public information) for the employee who was handling our GAP claim and the girl (Brea) would not give it to me. I explained that we had already met with him and just wanted to include him in the email, after telling her I remember clearly why I closed my business account with them and being on the phone for 13 minutes and getting nowhere she finally said she could give me the information I requested. We have been with this credit union since it was the Goodyear Credit union. This last merger was not good. Not sure who is managing this credit union but they are doing a bad job. We use the one on Kansas ave in downtown Topeka. I am using a walker at this time and I find they do not have auto door openers for the handy capped. They have double doors so it is very hard to get the doors open and walker inside. I have brought it up twice but all I hear is they are talking about it. Nice. They also changed all the ATM so now it is very hard to use and I have a hard time getting the money in the correct bills. It endalup giving me 100.00 dollar bills. Why have they made them so hard to use. I now have to go inside and wait in long lines. No ones seems to use the drive up much as they are hard to figure out also. If Azura doesnt hav ea correct address for you they will keep sending mail to the address on file and will charge $10 each time mail is returned and they continue to do this over and over until your account is emptied out. This is a big problem for minors because it is much harder to get mail directly to minors but they wont try to send to anyone else on the account!! Crazy system read more

This place takes an unreasonable amount of time to process ANYTHING. Then, they also charge a $10 fee for paying anything over the phone. They take weeks to process any payments resulting in late payment reports to credit bureaus that are inaccurate. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

This is the only payment I make that takes weeks to process. They charge $10 to take a payment over the phone. Through bill pay all other accounts are paid within 48 hours. This credit union takes weeks to process payments and hits my credit saying payments are late when I can prove payments were made. read more

Topeka people... I have a rant and review and i am sorry not sorry about it. The amount of times our debit card is "potentially compromised" and they need to send a new one with Azura Credit Union is astounding. Im talking at least 6 times since they merged. To exacerbate this nonsense they do NOT call to tell you they will be shutting off your card but send you this info. Via snail mail. Then to further the issue along, they do NOT work weekends... shut the card off midnight the Friday going into a weekend. So.... you have to wait till monday to talk to someone. Oh... and my Bill's didn't get paid. Fun times galore! So hours of unintended work later, I will be ditching Azura because they have "compromised" my life one too many times. read more

I have been with this bank since I was a child when it used to be "Educational Credit Union" like over 30 yrs & it was a good Credit Union!! Since the merger it has gone way down hill. They are hard to work with & my debit card/checking account has been compromised many times which causes a lot of problems for my bank account. I had one one my account's compromised and they kept trying to get money out my account & the money wasn't there so Azura charged me a overdraft fee of $24 & then that company tried to run it again, overdraft fee, etc....., so by the time I realized what was going on my other payments for bills were getting returned & I was getting charged $24 for that too! It was a nightmare!!! It was close to $600 & Azura didn't contact until it was almost that much. Then they expected me to pay that back!! It took almost a month to get it all figured out. This Bank is nothing but a lying cheating and stealing Bank do not bank here they'll lie to you and stab you in the back I've been banking here for over 10 years and I'm closing my accounts today I have a business and a personal account a while back I have some unauthorized charges on my account which were disputed the bank told me the charges were undisputable but the merchant that was listed as an unauthorized charge so that they never received the money so the bank pulled my funds back out of my account to pay the merchant merchant never received them Visa said that the case whiten my favor and I will not be have liable for purchase but I did not make the bank is still forcing me to pay for those charges and today I want to go get a higher overdraft privilege to the standard 800 they put me at 400 I feel the discriminated against I have direct deposits coming in $3,000 a month and they won't give me an $800 overdraft privilege like every other account they have with everyone else do not bank here read more
