She took control, tracked everything down and set everything straight immediately. A late payment was reported that was not a true missed payment, but a small carryover after my spouse tried to set up bi-weekly payments. This account has been active for 3 years without any issues, and this is the only blemish on the record. All payments since have been made in full and on time. When my spouse called to clarify, the Loan Manager hung up on her. We then emailed several times, but those messages were ignored after we asked for documentation of Azura's own records. Finally, we wrote to the CEO and Board of Directors, only to receive a form denial. What troubles me most is that Azura promotes values like integrity, accountability, and commitment to members, but our experience did not reflect those values at all. Instead of fairness and open communication, we were met with dismissive treatment and silence. If you are considering Azura, be aware that while they speak about member service, our experience showed the opposite. We expected professionalism and accountability, and unfortunately, did not see either.

Had one branch manager screw up a wire and promised me a wire would be sent on Saturday, which the Fed Reserve doesn't process wires on weekends,,,and she was a branch manager. The people that work there are not trained very well. It is so impossible to get anyone of significance to speak with as they leave all communications to their online banking or the untrained an ignorant front-line workers. The worst banking experience in my 25+ years of banking. Let's see how difficult they make it to close my accounts there....

The differences are stark: Cap Fed charges more and higher fees for everything in a seemingly predatory fashion. Their online banking is an outdated joke (nearly 2 years in and after several inquires the system still doesn't show my savings account). I wish they, what seems the worst bank, had not bought the best bank in Topeka. I will not be a customer much longer.
