I always find myself stumbling across something I never knew I needed. These type of stores are usually a good place for cheap electronic accessories, tools, and kitchen items. This store is no exception. It has a really good electronic accessories and tools. The beauty accessories look to be quite plentiful as well but I can't attest to their quality as they're not of much use to me. They also have a good selection of batteries here. When you walk in not only is the store immaculate it is so well organized / categorized and color coordinated. It does not look or fe el like a typical consignment store. You walk in and the energy is so positive and uplifting and it's like you are walking into an upscale boutique. Such attention to detail from a wonderful artist. I've been to this store several times on previous visits to Arnprior. Very lovely selection from local/Canadian artists. Worth the visit!

At NO TIME during my visit did I see signage to that effect, NOR did the clerk advise me at the cash that this was store policy. I take great offense to businesses thinking they are entitled to keep MY money and/or tell me how to spend it, (e.g. in their store). The fact that the policy is written/buried in the fine print at the very bottom of the receipt (who reads receipts until after-the-fact anyway???) furthers my impression of being baited without warning. Frankly, I find this practice off putting and a very bad look for a small town business. I absolutely will not be spending any more of my money at Jade and Laney, nor will I recommend that anyone I know shop there because of this policy.
