Keep in mind that this logistics firm doesn't set the prices and: -the further you have to ship -the heavier/bulkier/weirdly sized your items -if expedited is needed ... your cost is going to go up A LOT. We had an art workshop in Lincoln City and found that our completed pieces would not fit in our luggage, so we had to ship them back home to North Carolina. It was not cheap, but the very knowledgeable clerk helped us find a solution that worked, and she packaged the artwork up like an absolute boss. It arrived early with zero damage. She does not open the shop...waited in my car and watched at least 20 people drive up, not open, they left and some went to the shop next door. Charged $6 to print a paper label for a return. Most places don't charge anything for this.

I have used B&B for years and have always had a great experience. The woman who runs the store is so knowledgeable and helpful! I had to notarize some documents and overnight them to MT for my father's probate, and was really stressed out, she couldn't have been more helpful or understanding. Whenever I go in there we chat a bit about dogs or life in general. I've shipped expensive and fragile items to Hawaii and have never had to worry about damage, she is so good at packing items expertly. It seems like she had a lot in her plate, just from what I've observed, life on the coast is isn't easy for small business owners but she takes it all on with grace. Some of the rude comments on here are just ridiculous. A bunch of entitled jerks is what they sound like. We are really lucky to have such a terrific resource out here. I highly recommend! I found the clerk to be very rude. I came in with a package with a pre paid able. The Clerk was on the phone and seem to be irritated with me coming in it was like I interrupted her phone call. I was to to put the package down, and she went back to her phone call. when I didn't leave right away she give me a dirty look and ask me what else can she do for me? I asked her for a receipt. The Clerk said to me "she not doing right now because I am on the phone ". I was standing there looking at her kind of dumbfounded. I don't understand her rudeness . I needed to ship 3 packages and stopped in expecting to do just that. When we opened the door, the woman inside doesn't want to let us in, gives us one slip to fill out (we have 3 boxes) and is asking us to indicate on the slip what shipping service we want to use....we don't know-that's why we went there, so we could compare prices. Nicole was very helpful to me! I was having a painting shipped from a nearby antique shop so it had to be dropped off by the shop owner and shipped to MD. We had to go through various shipping methods and Nicole was great. Very matter of fact and to the point, which I appreciate. So many people want kittens and rainbows all the time but I found Nicole to be very helpful and communicative in our dealings, which spanned a few weeks. She is running a three person shop by herself so give her a break-- that's not easy! Great, helpful, kind and courteous experience at B & B Package Express in Depoe Bay, Oregon. Stopped by the day before to get some information about sending a package home. The kind and very helpful lady gave me a box to take home and use to pack and when I return the next day to actually send it I would know exactly the size that works best. I ship a lot from various locations around the country but never has anyone helped me this much to make the shipping experience very easy. Don't waste your time, money, or good day going here. I was selling a house long distance and needed to get the papers over-nighted and back to the real estate agent across the country -- I haven't lived here that long, and took the word of the Fedex help-line to find a place local to send out -- The "counter" woman was chatting up somebody on the phone and couldn't be bothered -- when she finally did look me in the eye, she sighed one of those long, wet, spittle-filled huffs and was obviously annoyed to be interrupted, and practically scolded me for bothering her -- then had the nerve to demand that I pay her a GRATUITY for the service of accepting my pre-paid, already filled-out and sealed envelope. "We ask for a donation" means it's not a donation -- it's a charge. A SERVICE CHARGE JUST FOR LETTING ME HAND IT TO HER AND KEEP HER FROM GOSSIPING FOR A FEW SECONDS? That's not a gratuity -- it's extortion. I was concerned that if I didn't give her what she was demanding, she would probably lose my envelope down some crack in the floor, straight down to hell! All she did was take the envelope, take the GRATUITY, and put the envelope into a stack behind her counter. Then she had the gall to look smug and smart-assed, and go back to her important buzzzing on the phone. Next time, I will drive to Salem. Or Portland. Or DENVER. I have to give a big shout out to B& B package express. I ship artwork and some if it is very fragile so I often insure it thru UPS shipping. Well I had an item break and UPS denied the claim saying it wasn't packaged correctly when I know it was. I wasn't happy, had to refund my customer. Absolutely terrible. DO NOT USE. I had a package that I needed to be delivered overnight. The package contained items needed for a wedding the next day at 3pm. I was promised the package would be delivered by 1pm the next day. They charged me $250, failed to deliver the package on time, and then refused to issue a refund. Incredible that they can get away with this. I would not use this shipper for any reason. They will screw up your delivery and charge you full price for it. read more

Went to use their notary service. Opened the door and a huge dog comes rushing out. Person had to go out and retrieve her dog, then she proceeded to command us to shut the door behind customers that came into the store. When we were finally being helped, the person was unable to understand the document and when we tried to explain it to her, she raised her voice and became extremely rude and argumentative. This place is very incompetent I had two packages to ship out going two different places I made that perfectly clear gave them the two addresses the woman wrote it up right on the paperwork then made two labels with the same address. I caught it when I got back to my rv called them 20 minutes after I dropped them off. She said they where already gone and she would contact fedx and have the package rerouted. I asked them to call me back when that was done never heard a word so I called them and they told me that it was rerouted but when I tracked the package it was still going to the wrong address. When I called again she was rude and said to be patient . These are antiques worth a lot of money and then if I am lucky the person that gets both packages will be kind and ship it to the right address and I will have to pay for shipping again after paying 38.00 to ship it to the wrong place it is bullshit. There has been a change in the staff apparently! I sent an international package today and the lady working was cheerful and helpful. She had a lot to do with my package as it was a complicated process and had several customers who came in while she was working on mine. I told her to go ahead and help them because they had pretty straightforward things like a fax and a package drop-off. She was still able to give my shipment the attention it needed and provided me with a chair while she worked. Even though it was complicated, she never lost her cool serving multiple customers.
