I needed a few copies and called ahead to make sure they were open and could get the job done. It was and it did.

Charged $6 to print a paper label for a return. Most places don't charge anything for this.

Unfortunately I cannot give zero stars. Unprofessional as well as insulting and charged me twice without rendering any service.

Brandon Miguel and Carlos did a fantastic job moving my two bedroom house to my new location. They…read morewere meticulous about ensuring the items, the walls and the floors were protected and safe. I would say they're the best movers I've ever had and I would recommend them highly.

Where do I start? First they were late 1 hr, everything went quite well until 2 movers (one being…read morethe manager of the Tillamook branch) got in a fight and the injured party called the police and 4 cop cars showed up on our property and a police officer walked into the house without permission, not knocking or calling out. The incident happened down the road where the truck was being loaded, so my son had no idea what was going on. My husband & I had headed out about 2 hrs. prior to all of this, so we were not there. Needless to say there was approximately a 2 hr delay while all of this was going on and by 8PM (after being there from 10AM), my son had a 2 hr drive to the new house, so he suggested they finish up without him being there. They kept the truck loaded overnight because they probably would have arrived by midnight!! The next morning I tried calling by 7:30 AM for 2 hrs. with no one answering the phone. Finally I got a hold of the manager around 9:30 and was told they would be arriving sometime in the afternoon and I asked that he call when they were on there way. They showed up around 3PM with no advance notice. They started unloading and I got a call from an accounts receivable person asking that we pay up before they unload. The estimate that I was given was $4800 and they ended up charging me a total of $6200 with some minor adjustments because of the incident. Basically we were held hostage as she told us she would tell them to stop unloading the truck. So we had to pay. All we asked was that they just charge us the original $4800 quoted. And on top of all that, they left a quite a lot of stuff behind in the house. This is a horrible company and I will be pursuing some sort of retribution through the state and most moving companies in the state of Oregon are controlled. DO NOT USE COASTLINE MOVERS!! I have not heard from anyone at the top for an apology.

Lile Moving & Storage - Lile Salem movers on the job.

    Lile Moving & Storage

    (13 reviews)

Do not use these people if you value your possessions and furniture…read more They showed complete disregard for any care. We used them for a 300 mile move within the state. They do not take an inventory of items loaded. When our furniture arrived at the destination a brand new wooden bed frame was broken as well as an antique record cabinet. Total value of both was approx. $550. Lile paid $139.00 for replacement. Replacement for the bed frame alone was approx. $450.00, price for the antique record cabinet is unknown. We still have small items we are not able to locate. We found small items waded up in packing paper but not labeled. For instance three sand dollars waded up in paper. Four screws waded up in paper not labled. There were several waded up pieces of paper that contained small items taped and unlabled. Fortunately we opened some but I am positive some small wrapped items were discarded as dunnage. We had a large wall clock packed and marked This Side Up with arrows pointing upwards, this was found in our living room upside down. The clock is still in the shop. I did not mention smaller broken items such as glassware, dishes etc. there was only a few. A different crew unloaded the truck than the ones that loaded it so they knew nothing of any necessary re-assembly. These movers were definitely like "bulls in a china shop" In closing all I can say is buyer beware and do some research!

Previous review removed and don't know why. This company moved us out of Oregon. Very long story…read moreshort- our items were delivered 6 weeks late and changed hands at least 5 times. We were continually told items were in transit when they were in fact in storage without our knowledge. Inflation adjusted over $15,000 missing and broken items when finally arrived. We were told we were liars and our fault things missing. I have the emails to show if anyone wants proof off of this. Nine months later we have been issued half the amount. Look at my reviews also for Class Pays who this moving company used to store our items a second time without our consent. Work was delayed due to no work clothes. Beware of this company. Once your items leave the state they become NorthAmerican only who has loads of legal protections to make your measly household items a joke.

U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer - Front of building where U-Haul business is transacted.

    U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer

    (1 review)

First, you should know that the U-Haul franchise for this business has changed hands a few times…read moreduring the last several years, and there are other listings for this business at other addresses in Lincoln City that show as 'CLOSED". Make certain you're driving to this one, not one of the "CLOSED" locations in Lincoln City. Second, the building that houses this franchise contains (I believe) six businesses in total. These include a parcel shipping service, an auto repair shop and a feed and tack shop, among others. They are all serviced through the single desk inside the building, and the building space contains quite a jumble of items related to all the different businesses. When you call the number listed here (the same number listed on U-Haul's national website), they answer, "Thank you for calling Happy Trails Feed and Tack", so I'm assuming that is the main focus of all the disparate enterprises there. Third, the selection of vehicles they offer for rent is mighty sparse. A few larger box vans, a couple of trailers and a pickup truck were on offer when I rented from there recently. As an example, one of U-Haul's most popular vehicles to rent for local moves is a Ford Transit van (or similar-size van), which is easy to drive, just the right size, etc. for most people's needs, and a vehicle I've rented many times from U-Haul or Enterprise. The woman at the desk told me they didn't have one, they've never had one, and never expect to get one, either - she explained they are too small a location to have something like that. OK, so first the pros: There's only one, and that's the aforementioned woman that works at the desk, the woman that sets up your rental. Very sweet, very helpful, and most importantly, competent. Loved her, and she is the saving grace for this business. The cons (let me recount my rental experience): As mentioned above, I wanted a van, but no van was available, so I had to rent the pickup truck they had, a Ram full-size unit. The pickup truck was very, very dirty inside (caked mud and straw in the footwells, muddy handprints all over the dash and door panels) and more mud all over the bed/tailgate/bumper and had lots of mud spatters everywhere else when I got it. And the bonus of some fast-food wrappers in the cab, too. It had obviously been used hard by whomever had the truck before me, and not cleaned before I rented it. There was no walk-around inspection by the rental agent; she just shrugged and said "sorry" and left it at that. Although, to be fair, there was so much mud all over the truck that it would have been difficult to see any scratches, etc. in a walk-around inspection anyway, so maybe she was just being realistic. She assured me I would not be charged for any of it, so off I went. I had the truck for 2 hours, covered 7 miles in it, and picked up a small kitchen table that wouldn't fit in my car, and then subsequently unloaded the table at my place. Everything thing on the truck worked fine, it was just really dirty. I turned it in while the counter person (the very nice woman) was still there (before 5 PM) and again, no interaction except that she told me the receipt would be emailed to me "in the next 10 minutes" after some worker logged in the return. Never happened, and the next day I get an angry call, a accusatory text, and an equally accusatory email from the regional U-Haul in Portland saying they want their truck back, I'm in violation of the contract terms and they have "initiated recovery efforts". Lincoln City never logged the return in, so I was still showing up as having the truck. WTH? So, I call the regional people back, and hours later, Lincoln City finally logs in the return. The regional rep. follows up with me after this by phone and told me the manager of the U-Haul franchise here told her he was "just too busy" to bother with logging in any of the vehicles that were returned the day before, and she apologised on his behalf. The summing up is that the truck I rented was dirty and kind of beat up, the staff (excluding the woman at the desk) is wholly inattentive and wildly disorganized, their process is chaotic, they exposed me to reputation risk and possible legal action from their corporate parent, I mean, it was just a really bad experience stretching over 2 days. For a 2-hour rental! Would I rent from these people again? Well, there is no other option in Lincoln City, THEY ARE IT, so I guess the answer is yes, but I certainly don't trust them to do the basic stuff they're supposed to do regarding a rental, and that's a definitely a problem, right?
