Hello my name is Ken i have been taking my Dodge Ram 1 ton dually too Rivers edge for about 20…read moreyears ,in the past they have done reputable work,But this past early May 2023 my truck had breakdown of the supply and return fuel lines to my cummins diesel,they didnt have the parts so they had to order them from the USA,my truck sat on their lot for 2.5 weeks until May 20 which was the start of a long weekend ,some people decided that they wanted my truck more than i did so at 1:30 am May 20th they Vandalized my truck,they punched a big hole behind the handle to gain access into my truck,they proceeded to try and start my truck thank goodness i had a electrical cutoff switch installed into truck so unless you had the key it wont start,they could not start it so they smashed the whole steering column up,then they stole my sub speaker system mounted under back seat,and zip cutted my half inch bolts from 100 gallon fuel tank,slid it out into their truck, NOW here is the best part appaerently Rivers Edge wont take RESPOSIBILITY for the vandalism cause it was my responsibility,even though it was on their property and they had my keys it was my fault it was vandalized,so now no truck it never got into a Body shop for 2.5 months ,in the mean time i had to rely on other people to take me to work,Rivers Edge would not do anything too help out my situation,SO no i would never take my Vehicle too RIVERS EDGE again they would be the last place i would ever take anything too,and i have told several people that were going too take their vehicle too them and they didnt like my story ,so anyone going there goodluck hope its not broken into it WILL BE YOUR FAULT.

At our next stop, had a local shop check the brakes and found they needed new front pads. However, the shop there would not have been able to fit us in for four days, which would have completely scrambled our plans. So, started calling shops ahead on our route to see if anyone could help us out. The minute Cory picked up the phone, I knew we were in competent hands. I explained the problem and told him we'd be in Prince George in a couple of days. He said "no problem", asked a couple of the right questions, and told me he could order pads to be ready when we got there. A couple days later, I rolled into Benchmark at 8 AM when they opened. Met Cory and the rest of the crew, and they told me they'd get right on it. They had me out and on the road by 10 AM, and much relieved at their helpfulness and conscientiousness. If I lived in Prince George, they'd be my regular shop!

Got back to the van after shopping and my sister in the car was sitting there with the ac on but…read morethe van wasn't fully on. The battery was dead. walked to princess auto for jumpers and they were out. Called Benchmark and they saved our day. In minutes they picked us up from Princess Auto, took us to where we were parked and gave a jump in seconds. So happy they could do that for us. Super friendly staff and quick responses. biggest rip off in PG!!! TJ the owner is not even a good , charged me $4000 to install two…read morelevelling springs (not even the shocks to go with it), two front axle U joints, and ball joints. Then send me a text a week later to tell me the shocks are in and should be installed, I then went to his shop to discuss why they weren't installed in the first place, got told it'd be another thousand dollars to install shocks. I used to use TJ's businesses, including Mcquick Lube And Oil on first and on the hart, but after this experience, I regret ever dealing with this place, don't deal with them or you'll regret your decision too!!!!!
