Hey bud, just trying to get a hold of you to see when you can come out to finish the job that I have already paid you to complete that was supposed to be done before last winter. You've been ignoring my texts and calls all week so I'm trying to reach you anyway possible. Don't know why you can't take my phone call when I've paid you in full and you haven't finished your end of our deal. You cut down my trees last September and told me you'd be back out in 4 weeks to finish the job but I still have 3 out of the 4 stumps sitting on my lawn almost a full year later ruining my grass and just in general being giant eyesores for the whole neighborhood. You've told me multiple times that you would be coming to wrap up and never showed up and never informed me that you wouldn't be able to make it or why. You also did a pretty poor job on actually grinding the stumps down as there were some spots that were missed when my wife and I picked up the mess (isn't that something I am paying you to do???). I have pictures of all of this. I paid you back in September to finish this job that should've been completed 4 weeks after you took down my trees and all I've been getting from you are excuses without any real plan on finishing this job. I need you to call me back so when can schedule when you will be out to pick up these stumps and do some clean up grinding work or you need to refund me for paid but unperformed work so that I can get someone else to come clean up your mess. My one star is generous. The review makes you leave something in the star category. I would have given them a minus one star. I had an Oak tree split at my house in Decatur, MI. Half fell and half stood. This was after the storm. On June 17, 2022 I had B&F Trees out to clear the tree which had been cut down by an Asplundh crew. They left about a 10 foot piece standing which needed to be removed as well as the stump grinded. I paid B&F $1250 to remove all the debris and grind the stump. I wrote a receipt since they had none to give, which stated, remove all tree debris, remove balance of remaining tree and grind stump. I had to leave to return home to Chicago. Later that evening I was speaking with my neighbor and he told me the B&F crew left behind most of the very large pieces of the tree. That was not what we agreed to nor was it what they agreed to upn signing the receipt. I called and spoke with the owner Jacob Bowman. He said he would talk with the crew and call me back. he never called. I called and left several messages. No return call. These folks are not honest nor are they honorable. DO NOT USE THEM.
