The plants are much better kept than B&Q and the other locals. I went to Walthamstow thats much bigger but still preferd leytonstone... much nicer people

They are also a timber merchants and do wood cut to order. It's also notable for it's signage: down the side they have a fabulous collection of woodworking: writing and various objects made of wood, and stuck to the side of the building. Sadly a few bits have dropped off, but it's still fun and impressive.

Theres always plenty of staff on hand to help out and give you all the information you need.They stand out easy with there orange B&Q aprons on! Theres always plenty of tills open to so you never have to queue too long. The prices are very reasonable also beating most other places that do DIY.
