The bloke that chatted to us was pretty helpful, although he did follow us around the shop, even though there were other people who needed his help...maybe I was looking shifty?? The selection is bigger than Chris Stevens up the road, and more interesting than Tops Tiles. You really need to peek behind all the pillars / lift up displays to see everything. They are a bit more expensive than the other places we looked at, even during their current sale. However we fell in love with one of their patterned floor tiles, so I'll be back soon to buy them.

The customer service was excellent and now the tiles are installed they look even better. I wouldn't even bother looking in Topps tiles and big companies like this anymore. They have a really good selection and much more funky tiles than we had seen anywhere else. Simon and his colleagues really know their products well and give great recommendations

If you buy too much you can take them back even if it is just a single tile and not a full box they will still buy them back. They give you great advice and will always give you an honest opinion. If they do not have the tiles in stock that you want they can usually source them from elsewhere.

We're talking just four tubes of mastic, not a big sale for them but they went out of their way to find a good match, emailing me over photos of the grout I had bought next to potential sealant colours and really cared about what the bathrooms would look like at the end. It's no surprise that homeowners as well as large property developers who are doing up 20 brand new bathrooms at a time, all go there. These guys are experts and really care.

She had amazing product knowledge on tiles even to which grout worked best. They have the valspar collection where they mix the paint and have hundreds of colours to choose from but it doesn't look like you can get tester pots and it's twice the price of Dulux. I've had mixed experiences with staff on different visits. Some have been very helpful but other times I've found that they haven't known where stuff is or haven't been willing to find out stock levels for us.
