Everything I've needed for my new house is here - from a toaster to the right IT connector to the precise metric nut and bolt needed to fix a microphone stand! Incredible range of cable from bellwire to 60 amp, nails still sold by weight, lots of paints, garden stuff - and friendly staff who really know what'll fit, and which shelf it is on. Helpful pricing. Cheerful checkout too!

On the ground level there is a great little furniture section at the end of the store and there can be some really good bargains to be had there. There is also an outdoor section. Particularly good for Christmas, the only down side is there's always a cue at the till, and the staff are pretty de-motivated. If you ever need anything, check here first. The bike repair kit I almost paid £10 for in Argos was in here (different brand but same stuff) for £6 the set, or £3.50 if you bought the bits separately. The downside is you can never really tell what's going to be in there, as they change their stock a lot.

The staff are very friendly and are always willing to help you with anything they can!!
