I wanted a larger stone bed installed in my backyard. These guys showed up a couple of days later and did a wonderful job. They gave me what I envisioned, they were hardworking and efficient, personable and they cleaned everything up afterward. All of this for a very reasonable price. But once the work is finished, his attitude completely changes and he becomes very rude. He did not properly remove the dirt, just piled up stones, and you can still see the fabric underneath. The quality of work was terrible. This was one of the worst experiences we've had with a contractor. The person we dealt with was Ben, and based on our experience, I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone. Please be careful before hiring them.

This is a fraudulent business. We signed a mowing contract with the owner, Doug Vargo, paid in full…read morefor the whole season. Midway through the season, we get an unprofessional looking letter in the mail telling us that the business is being taken over by someone else, named Michael Butcavage. This person literally wrote that he is the new owner of the company and will strive to complete the necessary services, and asks to us to send a copy of our contract, which will "ensure that he will continue to provide the service as agreed between us and Doug, at the same price". When we reached out to this Michael, he informed us that the original owner, Doug, is in trouble with the FBI and had fled the country. When we asked if our lawn mowing service would be maintained, Michael refused to honor the contract, told us that our lawn is too complicated, and asked for more money. This individual has also harassed us via text message after we posted a review of this business elsewhere. Do NOT do any business with DV Lawn Maintenance or with Michael Butcavage. Michael Butcavage is condescending, a liar, and a greedy crook.
