Today we went to the library and met a therapy horse, played in a bouncy house, had our face painted, played hop scotch, colored pictures, and did banana split and Daniel Tiger crafts. There is something for everyone. We also enjoyed watching all of the entertainment and singers. And of course we had to get a banana split! There are many food trucks and different vendors selling homemade items too. All and all it's a great time!

Located on the campus of Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA is the Fred Rogers Center. Many…read moregenerations grew up with Mr. Rogers Neighborhood for children's programming on PBS, and this building in his hometown is a unique dedication to him. There is a small, but well done exhibit on the 2nd floor of the Fred Rogers Center that's free of charge to visit. Several of his sweaters and puppets from his show are on display. The displays and audiovisuals are tastefully done and do a decent job of showing his life and impact he had on others. Most importantly, it makes you appreciate his message of understanding and kindness. There is a pretty decent documentary on Netflix titled "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" that examines his life and legacy. Although there was a more recent film where Mr. Rogers was played by Tom Hanks, I believe the documentary has much more depth and substance. Since the exhibit is modest in size and doesn't take long long to go through, I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit unless you're already in the area or are a Mr. Rogers fan, but definitely a nice and unique attraction.
