You can also use your vehicle's radio, but beware of draining your battery. You can watch the movie from inside your vehicle comma or bring a blanket to watch from outside. Some people get creative and watch from the beds of their trucks, a van seat on the grass, etc. Before the movies begin, kids usually play together in the big grassy area in front of the screen -- where it's too close to park and see the movies. The whole place is kept very clean, and the snack bar is filled with all the "tterrific but horrible" movie theater offerings you would expect, including nachos, burgers, ice cream, and (of course) candy, pop, and popcorn! But, these prices are much more realistic and reasonable than at the walk in theaters. The staff is wonderfully friendly, and there have always been two working pinball machines when we visit! The audio and visual quality of the movies is always terrific. You'll also get to see some nostalgic advertising - like the countdown in between the movies, which I'm guessing is actually from the era it depicts. (If not, it does a great job at making it seem that way to a modern audience.)

The one noticeable addition to the festival is that more ethnicities are now involved. I missed last year, so this may have happened last year, but I was unaware. It's a great mix of multicultural awareness. And oh my god, it's a great mix of food to get. The food selection has expanded and you can get food from the churches, from street vendors, and now from food trucks from around the area. I left here this year so full of so many different foods that I could have had the UN in my stomach. My stomach was at harmony. Too bad that this only happens once a year and not every single weekend.

I could have gone to so many more but there's that whole Pittsburgh to Greensburg trek that's tiresome after a concert. Anyway...each show I've see has had impeccable sound. The engineers are on it. Security, ticket taking, etc. was always an efficient and streamlined breeze.

A Local Treasure Worth Every Standing Ovation…read more I've been purchasing tickets for my mother and her friend at The Palace Theatre for the past three years, and I can honestly say this gem in downtown Greensburg is something truly special. The programming has been consistently top-tier, offering a wide range of shows that keep my mother (who sees over 20 shows a year!) thoroughly entertained and engaged. Even more impressive than the lineup, though, is the staff. They remember my mother and treat her like absolute royalty every time she walks through the doors--something that means the world to both of us. If you're not already a member of The Palace Theatre, you need to become one immediately. Membership gives you advance notice of upcoming shows, priority seating, and a feeling of being truly connected to one of the cultural cornerstones of the community. The theatre itself is stunning--elegant, historic, and beautifully maintained. It's a true highlight of downtown Greensburg and a reason to keep coming back again and again. If I had to offer one piece of constructive feedback, it would be to continue expanding and diversifying the programming. My mother does end up seeing some of the same shows year after year. But at 84, I'm just so grateful that she has a place she loves, where she feels seen, welcomed, and genuinely thrilled to attend. Bravo, Palace Theatre--you have our loyalty and our applause!

I was quite pleased with the search result finding it's an hour drive from where I live & that the performance was reasonably priced compared to other venues 2 or more hours away. This performance was held in the Toretti auditorium of the complex & it's a fairly amazing part of the complex hosting plays musicals & other smaller events compared to the Ed Fry Arena located on the grounds of the Kovalchick Center.    I loved how their seating arrangement was laid out in such a fashion making the viewing of a stage performance enjoyable along with a state of the art audio & lighting system making for a enjoyable showtime experience. I was very impressed with the puppetry design as it looks like Jim Henson created them himself & the acting by the cast was great & a wonderful tribute to the show. I found it very funny that a guy played Dorothy & was like how Epic was that when he came out on stage. All I have to say is this was a Golden moment & will come back here to spectate another show either here or the Ed Fry Arena. We were here for a wrestling tournament today. The center was real nice and clean. I was in two…read moredifferent restrooms and they both were very clean. The stadium seats were great! Cushioned seats are wonderful especially when you don't know how long you will be there. There was plenty of leg room and I didn't feel squished. Bonus was the cup holders which was great for my little guy and keeping his cup off the floor which minimizes spills in my opinion. I would definitely be interested in coming back for another event.
