So I put my clothes back on and advised the therapist what was going on. We then changed the sheets together and then started the session. Rough start to a some R&R. Truly it's rather jarring that something like this happened at a place like this during a time when Covid is spreading violently. To make matters worse, there was no protective pad between the extremely thin sheet and the wool padding underneath. And if that was considered the protective layer, then that needed to be changed out as well. I couldn't even fully relax during my massage because all I could think about is the bacteria and dead skin cells that may have collected in the bed from the person who laid there before me. Gross. I spoke to someone who seemed to be the manager, but all she could offer was an apology. She said she might be able to offer a credit for the next time I visit, but unfortunately she did not follow through with that. In a professional setting like a massage therapy school, you would think the first thing you teach is to take every precaution for Covid safety and customer satisfaction. That just wasn't the case here.

We are retired and on a fixed income so the $45.00 mistake was a big deal to me. She never responded to my request and kept the money.
