I was just about to lay on the massage table, until I noticed specks of dirt all over the table. It was obvious the sheets had not been changed from the session before mine. So I put my clothes back on and advised the therapist what was going on. We then changed the sheets together and then started the session. Rough start to a some R&R. Truly it's rather jarring that something like this happened at a place like this during a time when Covid is spreading violently. To make matters worse, there was no protective pad between the extremely thin sheet and the wool padding underneath. And if that was considered the protective layer, then that needed to be changed out as well. I couldn't even fully relax during my massage because all I could think about is the bacteria and dead skin cells that may have collected in the bed from the person who laid there before me. Gross. I spoke to someone who seemed to be the manager, but all she could offer was an apology. She said she might be able to offer a credit for the next time I visit, but unfortunately she did not follow through with that. In a professional setting like a massage therapy school, you would think the first thing you teach is to take every precaution for Covid safety and customer satisfaction. That just wasn't the case here. read more

They are all highly knowledgeable in bodywork and holistic healing strategies. They've helped me a great deal professionally and personally. I know there's not a better school in the state, as I looked into all of them before coming here. They create a safe, comfortable, worry free environment that makes it easy to learn a new skills set. They are more than just dabblers. They devote their lives and their studies towards the human body. The coolest part about Jesse, in addition to get a mind blowing massage, is that he is open minded towards multiple massage techniques. My massage was different both times, and I felt better after both, even though they were so different. Somehow both of my massages turned into a pseudo therapy/philosophy session that I really enjoyed too. He gave me stretches and activities to do at home in between like a physical therapist. Erica is awesome. I have been seeing her as my primary message therapist for over 2 years now and a little over a year at this location. The location is located in the tower on the corner in the best buy parking lot on the second floor above the S&B hamburger joint. The office is clean, neat and peaceful as a message therapy place should be. I have never had a massage here by anyone other than Erica. I would strongly recommend her, as she is attentive, experienced, professional. I have been a client of Like Minded Therapies for a couple of years. Based on sports injuries and a couple of car accidents, my body began experiencing quite a bit of pain. Jesse has been working with me consistently for a few months now and the only discomfort left out of hip pain, knee pain, back pain and shoulder stiffness / pain is a little shoulder stiffness. I have been going to Gebhart for 21 years. I have performed with Cirque Du Soleil and did high level gymnastics my whole life. Geb is the only person that I have ever been to that understands the perfect bond between being osteopath healer and a chiropractor. No he is not going to adjust your bones But with pressure points and his skilled hands.. he can make your body feel 10 times younger and more mobile! Like minded therapy is the best kept secret in Oklahoma. This place is wonderful for massage therapy for maintaining health and alignment. As a runner I constantly face issues with muscles being too tight, bones being too sore and my hips feeling very stiff throughout my week. The staff at Likeminded Therapies fix me up every time where even chiropractic offices couldn't! I highly recommend checking these folks out. The office has a great atmosphere, the people are wonderful and talented at what they have become certified to do and they are CHEAP! I pay $75 for an hour where anywhere else I would have to pay $300 even after billing health insurance. So, plain and simple, if your body needs some TLC, visit these people and they will get you fixed up! read more

These practitioners are by far the most professional massage therapists. I would recommend Jesse or Gebhart. I have been seeing Gebhart for many years and I swear by his techniques. This is a deeper and more specialized massage than for relaxation and corrects problems of alignment and knotted soft tissues.
