This shop seems to have two businesses sharing the same front, with very different qualities of service. The tagine and wrap side is friendly and prompt; the young man running the pide side notably rude and dismissive.
He scolded me when I tried to pick up the order on his side, then CLOSED the shared, seated dining section when I tried to enjoy my wrap there.
He chased me off to a narrow, back counter with two old metal stools. I decided to eat outside in the plaza, where it was cold but much more welcoming than that arrogant shunting of a mild-mannered, paying customer.
Stay away from this place if you're an Asian woman. This entitled, unprofessional young man seems to have a problem with customers who look like us.
it's a pity. The food and attitudes were much better on my last visit, when other people were running the place.
The lamb wrap would have been tastier if they hadn't used a sweet and sour sauce on it. It tasted prepackaged and odd. I expected different flavors. read more
