I always…read moreuse this petrol station because although its a bit more expensive than some, the petrol gives good miles per gallon. It has a small Spar attached, which is perfect for essentials, like bread, milk etc. It also has Luig's Car Wash, a very reasonably priced and professionally run car valeting service. You have a choice of levels of valeting from bronze (basic car clean) to gold. It is always popular, so my advice would to try and use it in the week, rather than the weekend.

Since I have a (by Brit standards) big SUV I have to pay the higher price but for a complete hand wash and dry, cleaning and vacuuming inside the prices is £15 - really not bad. Two thumbs up!

This is a shame, as the price of LPG is always one of the cheapest around. Drive-through payment booths can cause traffic jams at times.

Well priced BP fuel on the A50, so very useful if you're making the crossover from the m6 to m1…read more It's only available eastbound, so if you're going the other way you'd have to get off at the next junction and turn round. In North Staffs it's one of the two stations offering the cheapest BP fuel. Downsides, it can be near impossible to get out of. Between the people not doing the speed limit and those who go tearing past at 80 it's a nightmare. I've waited about 5 minutes before to get out of here and I'm not a cautious driver.

Inside the store is really though out and everything is layed out nicely. They have a wall of magazines and a fridge of ice cream and fridge of sandwiches, cold drinks, yogurts etc. If you go at night time there is usually alot reduced. They have alot of home things that are essential for example cereal, tea, biscuits, pasta sauces and also alot of things for the car di icer, sponges air fresheners etc. They sell cigarettes and a few medicines behind the counter. Recommended.
