My daughter recently aged out of Baby Bubbles Infant Care after turning two and we've been so sad about having to move on. She had been with Ms. Patty and her team at BBIC since roughly 5/6 months old. The care she received here truly felt like an extension of how her father and I care for her at home. As a first time mom, I was so nervous to leave my tiny baby with someone outside of the home but after our first meeting with Ms. Patty, my husband and I knew we had found the perfect match. Baby Bubbles specifically offers infant care, so only a small group of babies/children will be enrolled at any given time. The ratio of caregiver to child is often 1:1, with each child receiving lots of love & care tailored to their specific needs. Our daughter had to go through the helmet process (IYKYK!) and everyone at BBIC was more than willing to work with us through the process. Our daughter definitely developed some really special bonds while here and was quite attached to everyone who cares for her at BBIC. She arrived every morning excited to be greeted at the front door, and couldn't wait to jump in with her playmates. She even cried at times when I would arrive to pick her up at the end of the day! By the time she "graduated" at two years old, she had learned all the basic sign language, could sing her ABCs and could even count to 10 in both English, and Spanish! She actually still says "mas" when she wants more lol Her caregivers, and the little friends she made here, were really the only thing she'd known outside of her dad and I so we were truly sad to leave - I cried after we picked her up on the last day! This really is such a special place and you definitely get the sense that you're part of a little family. read more

BBIC is a small home daycare for infants that my son has been going to for the past 6 months. Patricia, Athena and her team are great! My son is excited when he gets dropped off in the morning and he sleeps great at night because he had so much fun. They adjust to your child's schedule and they send you a summary at the end of the day so you can see when they fed, napped, etc. We send our own bottles but they provide food and snacks for the older infants. Before Covid-19 we took our kid here. They do daycare for children up to 2 years old. Patricia and Athena do absolutely great work! It's a small daycare place without too many children, I had peace of mind leaving my kid here and I don't think you could actually recommend anything higher than that! read more

Had our 3 month old son in part time day care at Bubbles. The owner and staff took great care of him. The staff always provided us with photos and updates about his feedings and diaper changes. He was in great hands and great care. Would highly recommend. read more

People here are pretty friendly, kind and nice. But this infant care is not for everyone. My baby attended here for 5 months until the daycare kicked her out for being to noisy, not having an object of attachment ( pushed for me to get her one even tho that's not the way I want to parent and made it pretty clear) and when she started taking shorter naps. At first she will take super long naps sometimes 3 hrs in a row and I had to tell the daycare to wake her up because she was sleeping a lot during the day ( more than necessary) and affecting how she slept at nights They also didn't follow specific instructions. When Miss Patty told us she started having trouble with Ellie because she was screaming too much and told us we needed to go to the pediatrician ASAP because Ellie probably had hearing problems or sleep deprivation ( pediatrician said she was healthy and behaving like a 9th moth old should) I sent some Camila (teething medicine) and specifically said to only give it once a day and just if necessary they ended up giving her 8 doses in 2 days!! Patricia is definitely a life saver for me and my husband. Due to covid, no family members could travel abroad to help me and my husband. I was very depressed until I found Patricia, she gave me great support mentally and physically. So lucky that we had Patricia and her team, not only she took care of my son, but also she CARES my son. When we realize my son needed a specialist, Patricia refers her network for me, I receives a lot of useful information near Torrance area. Patricia also specifically practiced with my son daily for his needs and analyzed his issue with me. She followed our instructions to give my son correct dose for his nebulizer treatment, helped to keep my son stay healthy. We can't express how happy we were to find Patricia Cecchi and Baby Bubbles Infant Care ("BBIC"). One of the hardest things to do as a new parent (first time or second time like us) is to start day care after an extended period of staying home with your baby. But, Patricia helped make this as an easy and smooth transition as possible. She really wants what's best for your baby so if she sees that your little one isn't adjusting to BBIC then she'll recommend care elsewhere. Since I had an unpleasant experience with my first son's daycare (Manhattan Academy), I wanted to make sure my second baby had a better experience. I searched everywhere for a day care when I went back to work and was not happy with my options. After touring a few day care centers, I was in tears because I just didn't feel like he was going to get the attention and care that I had given him. Then luckily, Ms. Zohra (Director at Beach Cities Child Development Center..where my older son is currently attending) recommended Patricia and BBIC for its proximity to BCCDC and that it would be easier for us when we had to drop-off/pick up. When I toured BBIC, I knew it was a PERFECT fit! I loved that it is out of a house and had a small enough program where he could play and socialize but still be loved and cared for as he would at my own house. Patricia and BBIC is a God send! We were fortunate to have found someone who genuinely cares for our son. My son has been attending since October 2014. BBIC accepts infants as young as 2 months and toddlers as old as 2 years. Ms. Patricia and the staff at BBIC are loving and very attentive! I trust them completely and feel very comfortable with my son there while I am at work. My son is always showered with love and just enjoys going to BBIC that sometimes he doesn't want to leave. Patricia and her staff treat all the children as if they were their own. I have many videos and pictures sent from Patricia to document the fun, learning, and nurturing that goes on all day long. The children learn and explore throughout the day as they play outdoors, read, draw, imagine, and socialize with the other children. I couldn't be happier with my son's growth and development. The facilities are always very clean and organized. I love that I have the option to receive messages from BBIC (via email or text) with my son's daily schedule (detailing # of diaper changes, meal/snack times, nap times, etc.). Note that BBIC is closed all holidays observed by the Torrance Unified School District. So, if you want your baby to be loved, respected, and nurtured in an environment that supports their emotional and social development as well as early learning through play, then BBIC may just be what you're looking for. Another huge plus is that BBIC will help transition your toddler to BCCDC when they've aged out of their program. read more

We can't recommend Patricia and her team enough! We love Baby Bubbles Infant Care! Patti, her mother, her daughter and all the women here are the BEST! We actually only planned to take our infant son here for a few months as an interim solution until he was accepted into a larger pre-school facility. We were accepted into Manhattan Academy, but the week before he was due to start there, we just couldn't stand the thought of our son not being with Patti and her team all day, so we cancelled MA and asked Patti if she could accommodate keeping him on longer than planned. She was flexible and understanding and he was able to stay! What a relief. They are so sweet and every time we go inside, the kids are all calm and quiet. Even for a small space, they are very organized and the vibe is always positive and zen. I know they genuinely love our son and give him the same attention he'd get at home. Even at only 8 months old, our son smiles at and hugs the women every morning when we take him there. I know that he is well cared for and that he enjoys his time every day. Patti and her daughter text message and email us with updates and they keep a record of all feedings, naps and diaper changes on the daily board, so we know how his day has gone. We are not on a traditional schedule most days, as I work from home and often take him in at varying times. They are flexible and never give me a hard time about my weird schedule, which causes me so much less stress. I will be so sad when he grows out of Baby Bubbles! Thank you Patti! read more

I called the facility to inquire just about pricing and I told that to the lady that I was not ready to go back to work that I just wanted to see what the going rates were for childcare today so I could even see if it's possible for me to go back to work in the future and she refused to tell me any information because it was pointless because they had no spots open and when I explained to her that I wasn't looking to enroll I'm just looking to see what the going rates are at child care facilities very rude not helpful wouldn't want to send my kids here read more

Had both of my boys cared for & nurtured here and highly recommend to any parent looking for childcare of their little ones!! We love the family-style daycare with all of the very caring & nurturing staff. They spoke to my boys in Spanish, were attentive to their needs and followed the special instructions that occasionally came up. They treated all of the little ones lovingly, with respect and playfully. They do follow the Torrance school calendar & have a summer vacation break would can be tricky to plan for, but you are told up front so that you can plan accordingly. 100% agree with all of these positive reviews. Patricia, Athena and their team are the best. I credit much of my daughter's growth, development and confidence in those early months to the fact that they stick to a daily routine and their consistent energy, joy and light. Their experience and warmth assured me she was in good hands on a daily basis, and they were approachable, accommodating and flexible whenever I had questions or concerns about anything - what she was doing all day, what she ate, how many time she napped, for how long, and on and on for 16 months! With Patricia and Athena, she found independence, her first words and her love for music, all without losing the sense that she was with a family. Since the daycare is in Patricia's home, my daughter was introduced and exposed to other languages and foods (after clearing allergies with me of course) that she wouldn't have otherwise gotten, and I loved that. My daughter started at 12 weeks old when I went back to work full-time, and Patricia was great about texting me photos to let me know my girl was napping, eating, playing, etc. I really feel the routine and consistency at this early age helped build her confidence and language skills. They really take care to teach and constantly talk to the babies here, and the babies adore them right back. When my daughter was 18 months old, she transitioned to Beach Cities down the street to join her big brother, and Athena and Patricia helped with that too, accompanying my daughter on her half-day visits so that I wouldn't have to take time off work. Even though he never attended, my 3-yo son is a big fan of Patricia and Athena too, who welcomed us every morning when we dropped off my daughter, offering to let him borrow books from their library and letting him come in to see the babies. Some caveats - (1) They enforce a strict and relatively early (compared to other daycares) pick-up time. Patricia is a mom too, with her own young kids and is as busy managing them as the rest of us are, so I came to understand this. (2) As others mention, they follow TUSD's schedule w/r/t holidays and time off, but they do send reminders well in advance. read more

Patricia, Athena and the team are amazing! They greet everyone with smiles and enthusiasm at the beginning of every day. They give you a run down of all of the day's feeding, naps and diapers when you pick up your child. The tracking of all these details is a really nice. And helps keep me informed so that I can make sure my kid gets to follow a similar schedule when he is at home with me. The small setting allows for a smaller group of kids and therefore a small consistent team watching the kids. It is really nice to see the same people taking care of your kid every day because they get to know your children of and figure out their personalities. They do follow the Torrance school district holiday schedule, so there are a couple more days off to plan around than if you have your kid at a large institution daycare, but the trade off is that it feels more like family watching your child. read more

Having moved from out-of-state, my previous experience with daycares for my older two children set the bar high. When I was looking for an Infant Care for my daughter I had a certain criteria in mind, namely clean, safe, interactive and caring. What I got was so much better than I was hoping. What I love about this daycare is the cozy environment with the great outdoor space. There are many hands-on-deck so I don't have to worry about whether she is being taken care of. I also love that it has a limited age range, so I don't have to worry about the big kids "helping" and accidentally hurting my little one. In my opinion, this also allows for a better learning environment because the group is at the same development stages. I had a very fussy baby, that only wanted me. Needless to say I was a bit worried about leaving her, but it didn't take long before she would jump out of my arms and into the Carers. I think this was definitely due to the knowledgeable concepts that Patricia put into place, making the transition that much smoother. read more

Both of my sons attended Baby Bubbles Infant care from 2 months to 2 years old full time, and we have had a wonderful experience. Patricia and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable, caring and devoted to raising babies. As a new mom who knew next to nothing about babies, Patricia was extremely helpful and patient with me through every step of the way. We had a hard time getting my second son to take a bottle at home, but by the end of his first full week at Baby Bubbles, he was drinking all his bottles, no problem! They really have a special touch with babies. It was very comforting knowing they were being taken care of in such a close, nurturing environment with other children of similar ages. My first son is still friends with another boy who attended Baby Bubbles at the same time. They transitioned to Beach Cities CDC together and are like brothers. My second son will also transition at the same time as another child so it's really nice that they have someone familiar to be with when they get to the new school. It is such a formative time of life and BBIC is devoted to help babies learn and grow in every way. My boys learned Spanish along with English, counting, and lots of songs. They played inside and out. They danced and listened to stories. I received lots of pictures just to show me how much fun they were having. They walked in in the mornings, gave big hugs all around, and were truly happy to be there. Patricia is also great because she sets up the transition from her day care to Beach Cities CDC. She worked out the schedule with Miss Zhora and even helped with taking them for their visits during the transition week. It was such a relief not to have to worry about getting on a wait list! After 4 years, we think of each other as family. There's no better feeling that knowing your child is in good hands when you're away.
