With food, there's usually about 8 trucks or so scattered around, with everything from pizza, tacos, and reuben sandwiches to cupcakes and other sweets. Plus, you can take advantage of the businesses in the cottages for sweet ice cream, peanut brittle, and snowballs (which were my personal favorite). Remember to bring a camp chair or blanket, as there is no seating available. Also, if you want, you can bring beer or wine. Finally, you could end up having to park all the way down the street, so you may want to arrive early just in case.

The stage was angled oddly this time so it was not directly facing the majority of the crowd. Also, there was a huge tree right in front of the stage which blocked the view. Parking is a pain typically with any event at Lake Ella. There were 7 food trucks out there this time, which includes Lucy & Leo's cupcakes in an adorable vintage style camper. I bought food from El Criollo and Street Chefs. Friends bought food from Valhalla and Fired Up Pizza. Overall, if the weather is good, this is a relaxing way to spend an evening out.

Very limited outdoor seating taken up by 1-2 students and all their books. So...Don't expect to sit and enjoy once you've got your food, unless you like eating standing up. Right next to a parking lot so sitting on the ground, like on Food Truck Thursdays, also not a thing. Got myself a Combo 2, a large plate of Adobo Chicken on white rice with a lumpia and a soda. If you've never had a lumpia, it's basically an egg roll but better. The wrapping is less doughy and more flavorful but if you see it and say 'egg roll' you won't exactly be wrong since that's how you say egg roll in Spanish. You're welcome, now you can order food and won't starve when stuck somewhere where they only speak Spanish...like Miami. Very large portion for the meal itself. The adobo chicken was tasty but the rice's blandness didn't highlight it but take it away. Would be better if they served it on less rice with a small side salad. Located at the corner of Thomasville Rd and East 7th Avenue at the convenience store near Midtown Caboose. We stopped by for a quick afternoon snack, and our tacos were absolutely stacked! We ordered one taco each, and they were loaded all the way up! The service was top notch and they offer cute little outdoor shaded picnic tables so you can save your vehicle upholstery from wearing your meal. Be sure to get them "con todo" with cheese, sour cream, cilantro, onion, street corn, and guacamole salsa. These tacos were a perfect balance of spicy heat and cool freshness. My friend wanted a cheese quesadilla, but the system forced us to order it with meat at the same price point, which was disappointing. The food took at least 30 minutes to come out, and when it did, my chicken tacos were overly salty and drenched in liquid/grease, making the flour tortilla soggy. My taco meal came with chips and salsa but the salsa appeared to be premade from a jar like Tostitos Chunky Salsa. While I'm glad I gave it a try and respect the effort, the inability to modify orders and the extended wait time make it hard to justify a return visit, especially if you're on lunchtime and have a time constraint.
