I went in around 7 p.m. on July 2 or 3 for a full-face threading, and the actual threading was the most thorough I've ever experienced. She removed an incredible amount of peach fuzz, even getting the hairs around my nose, and the results lasted noticeably longer than other places I've tried. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the shop really concerned me. When I arrived, I waited about 10 minutes in the waiting area without being acknowledged. During that time, I noticed that the artwork, side tables, floors, chairs, and mirrors appeared to have a significant amount of dust and grime. Once I was taken back, the area where I was receiving the service also did not appear clean. I honestly felt uncomfortable, but I was embarrassed to leave after we had already interacted, so I went ahead with the service. I also wasn't given an opportunity to approve the eyebrow shape after they were mapped, and when they were finished, one eyebrow was noticeably different from the other. That said, the full-face threading itself was incredibly thorough and, aside from that eyebrow issue, I was very impressed with the work. I really hate leaving a negative review, especially because I know how hard it is to run a small business, and I genuinely wanted to love this place. But cleanliness is extremely important to me when receiving a personal service, and unfortunately it is the reason I haven't returned despite being very impressed with Gloria's actual work. I hope the owner will take this as constructive feedback because I would absolutely consider coming back if the cleanliness of the shop were addressed.

Fast, safe, hygienic, and as painless as any wax I've ever had. Secondly, it's convenient. Easy to get an appointment scheduled, in and out in 15 mins for many services, and an easy and reliable online scheduler. I only used this once, since I now make my next appointment at the time of service, but it was really useful, and the automated system sends me appointment reminders and receipts. Finally, she's absolutely lovely. While she's taking care of you, she's easy to visit with, and you'll love her voice and her laugh. It makes the time go by faster and makes an awkward situation seem less so. Pro Tip: Tip your waxer more than 20%. Really people. And, if at all possible, cash is best. She'll appreciate it, and you'll appreciate her so much, you'll want to take good care of her.
