The Warwick office location (only open on Friday's) is overwhelmed…read more ---- In April 2026, showed up for my appointment and found the office closed. ---- Three other patients (who where also scheduled for the same day) in "common waiting area." Were chatting about the zero cancellation notifications. ---- A receptionist of an adjacent doctor's office told us that the office closing on Fridays and patients not being notified is a common occurrence. ---- I called the main office (Providence) but had to leave a VM (no one ever answers the phone.) --- They called back stating their office policy is to send "cancellation letters in the mail" (all patients witnessed that day never received notifications). --- Shocking that a doctor's office policy is to use snail mail to cancel appointments. (about as hands off as you can get related to customer service.) Suggestion: They need to update their office policies and/or hire enough staff to be able to preform the basic functions of: 1) answering the phone; 2) using email notifications when rescheduling appointments.

I find the front staff to be extremely kind and helpful, the lab has always done a good job with blood draws (and I'm someone who gets that feeling of being in a tunnel typically, and I've done really well with them even while still having trouble at other labs). Dr. Ortiz in particular is caring, takes the time to listen and answer questions, and is very careful and thorough. When some of my results were borderline he sat down with the practice and talked the details over to make sure we were on the right track. I'm seeing an endocrinologist in the hopes of having of getting pregnancy and having a safe pregnancy, otherwise my lab results would not warrant a endocrinologist. I very much trust him in this process.

I think Dr. Howe is one of the most empathetic doctors I have encountered in my 51 years of living…read more Not to get into personal details of my health on Yelp - I will say this..... when I met Dr. Howe I asked him if he would be willing to treat me for anything that my blood might reveal and his answer was yes (my last ob/gyn was unwilling to do this). He is an expert in his field and I respect and appreciate his guidance. He believes in getting to root cause as opposed to just treating symptom - but is willing to do both to ensure the comfort of his patients. I think he is an outstanding doctor!

He listens carefully and patiently to any concerns and takes notes on everything discussed (questions, answers, instructions) and he gives you a visit summary every time. There is a lot of information to take in and having the summary is very helpful. He also has very convenient Saturday hours - so if you have a busy schedule, you don't have the added stress of taking time off work for an appointment. Top notch care!

He is an Endocrinologist and has checked my feet once in 15 years. I am DIABETIC. He tells me that he "thinks" I have Cushing Syndrome, but not sure. He has been saying this for two years. His practice was supposed to be dissolving and I never got a letter stating this. One of the unprofessional receptionists told me over the phone in a less than professional manner. My chart is intertwined with another patient's chart and St. V's billing dept and Vice President's office cannot seem to fix the problem. It has been over 6 months of me making call after call to get someone with a clue to fix it and have been unsuccessful. Steer very far away from this practice!!
