I have been having my hair cut and coloured every 8 weeks for a number of years (since…read morerefurbisment). All the staff & the owner are really welcoming and it is the most enjoyable hairdressers I have ever used. Very clean and tidy. You can't help but feel at ease as soon as you enter this light and airy salon. Nothing is too much trouble. Nice music in the background to while away the time. Really good products used on my hair......shampoo, conditioner, colour, serum and hair spray. Afterwards my hair smells delicious and is left nice and shiny. Whoever you book in with really listens to how you want your hair done and the cut is accomplished very professionally. Having my hair done is a wonderful relaxing experience and afterwards I always feel like a million dollars!! Following Covid19 the owner has installed lots of see through screens in between the salon chairs, also over the chairs at the sinks. The staff all wear masks and visors and the seats are thoroughly cleaned after use. The prices vary depending on what you are having done, but overall not bad. I fully recommend this salon.

Although fairly new they've built up a good regular client pool. I work just round the corner so I can pop there in my lunch break which is great! I have to say I've only ever had a quick 'you-can't-really go-wrong' fringe trim in there but the other customers always seem pleased with the results. As usual you can opt for different experience levels with according price schemes with various discounts seasonable available - current a student offer is available.

So wish I'd checked some reviews before booking a deal at Ego. I went for a half-head highlights…read moreand cut/blow-dry. The hairdresser seemed very nervous and I found out by overhearing a conversation with the owner that she was an apprentice! My 'blonde highlights' have basically come out solid ginger. And the cut? Well I don't think she understood what an 'inch' is. I asked for 1.5-2 inches off the length and layers but you cannot tell I've had my hair cut all my broken and split ends are still there. For a full time mum with little time or money this was supposed to real treat, but I've come away feeling totally ripped off and really wish I'd complained. Can't believe they think this a good way to run a business they will certainly NOT see me again.

I purchased a KGB deal for half a head of highlights, a Moroccan Oil treatment and a cut and I had…read morea pretty similar experience to the majority of other reviews on here. My appointment was booked for 9.30am. I turned up at 9.30am and was told they don't open until 10! I went to look round the charity shop and came back at 10. The stylist offered me a cup of tea which was luke warm because she had to go out and buy milk whilst making it. I only drank a few sips out of politeness. Now you would expect a hairdresser to have nice hair themselves but she had badly bleached hair with horrible roots. Doesn't exactly fill you with confidence. My hair is really long and I said that I wanted a trim and a tidy up of my layers. The hairdresser said she would cut my hair dry because there was no point putting bleach on the bits she was going to cut off. I thought that was odd but went along with it anyway. So she did my highlights but I didn't really pay much attention and read a magazine as I hate hairdresser chit chat. When she took out the foils to wash my hair she basically ripped them out which was so painful. I normally like having someone wash my hair at the hairdressers but this was so bloody painful. The 'Moroccan Oil treatment' was basically conditioner. She started to comb by hair out but it was very notty. My hair doesn't normally get that notty so I don't know what she did to it. She asked me if I wanted to comb it out myself, which I did because she was hurting me. At this point I thought she might check the cut was right and tidy up the layers but no. I didn't actually want her to because by this point I had absolutely no faith in her at all. She blow dried by hair using a skanky old brush and ripping through the tangles. I swear she put more split ends in than she cut out. Overall I was pretty unimpressed although it was cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this salon to a friend.

I'd like to think of myself as quite an outgoing and friendly kind of girl, but when it comes to…read morethe hairdressers I really hate making idle chit chat. It's so banal and dull that I sometimes make things up to keep the conversation alive. "I'm moving to New York next week.... I'm in training for the marathon at the moment... I'm getting married next month". This is why I cannot go back to the same hairdressers more than once. So why I needed my locks tamed, Reflections on Queen's Road was next on my hit list. Friendly hairdresser? Tick. Head massage? Tick. Boring conversation? Tick. The hairdresser seemed like she understood exactly what I wanted and started snipping away. It looked fantastic until she insisted on making in poker straight and flat against my head. Two washes later and a whole lot of hairspray and I was very happy with my new do.

A teensy bit on the chavvy side and you may well come out of there with the same hairstyle as all…read morethe stylists that work there - super, super straight, choppy layers, side swept fringe and a streak of blonde. If that's not what you're after, it may take some explaining that you want to keep your curls/length/natural colour. They use GHDs and GHD products which is a bonus, plus they're open until 8pm on a Thursday - perfect if you work late or at the weekends. Inside, this one looks just like all there other salons in the city. Inoffensive, but not the place to go if you want a complete restyle.

As well as being able to get your hair cut at Headspae, they also sell a range of products which, among others, the shop's latest front shop posters say that can help with the 'Volume', 'Shine' and 'Repair' of your hair. I was long, long overdue a haircut, I have gone to a number of different hairdressers in Bristol…read morebut couldn't find one that I liked. I am so chuffed, I have found a talented hairdresser who: -didn't give out to me for not getting my ends trimmed regularly -or for tying up my hair wet -or try and force me to colour my hair, -or ask me where I was going on holidays this year and constantly need to keep a fake smile and inane stream of conversation going. The end result was my leaving the salon not stressed out like I often am and with happy hair :-) I had a complete restyle and love my new look, the hairdresser understood what I was trying to communicate and did a great job. I was offered water or a hot drink if I preferred one. The salon itself is small but bright, cheerful and chic. I was seen without an appointment but it was a quiet morning, expect to need an appointment in the afternoons as it gets quite busy. There was 25% off so my restyle came to £30. Without the discount, the £40 for a restyle would have been worth it. That's how much I paid for a top stylist in London and was usually offered a glass of wine to boot! However for top hair satisfaction and a relaxed hair experience, I give it the full 5 stars.
